This is definatley a case of pictures can be deceiving. We stayed in this unit for 5 weeks and are definatley not impressed.
This unit was advertised as completely rennovated which is not at all the case. The kitchen and bathroom cabinets were the original paper laminated faux wood, the counters were original as well. The sofa and love seat were newer but so dirty that we used sheets over them as slip covers. The top sheet on the bed did not fit, it was way to short. The vent system were loaded with dust. We replaced the furnace filter ourself after having called in for a work order 5 days earlier and nobody showed up. The kitchen was supplied with most of the necessities, however there were no beaters for the mixer and there was not a crockpot to be found. The walls in this unit were dirty and marked up. It looked as though someone had gone over stains and marks with a paint brush to cover them up which actually looked terrible. -

Young sun people are fantastic!!! We experienced some difficulties before we got down to gulf shores and they fixed it right away and in a very professional way! I would use youngsuns again in a heartbeat!!

We had a wonderful time in Gulf Shores. Our stay at Island Winds West 374 really helped make our first time in Gulf Shores more memorable. The condo was in a great location and very clean. The grounds keepers were super nice and very helpful.The private beach was great too. The check in/out process was so easy. We can't wait to return to Gulf Shores.

We were disappointed in the condition of the property. The king bed was sagging in the middle which caused both of us (me and my husband) discomfort. The kitchen equipment and stove were very unsatisfactory. The TV in the living room was only 19". The maintenance guy took care of the bed and moved a TV for us(which didn't work very well). The table on the patio needed to be replaced.
We liked the condo but wished the items mentioned had not been a problem. The location was great and we loved being on the gulf.

The unit was furnished well, but had some issues with the following: Kitchen utensils need to be replaced (especially pancake turners, etc.); needs new glassware (only 3 glasses); new cutting board (cracked); under cabinets need cleaned and organized and old unusable stuff thrown out - very dirty; I would not have used the dish drainer for my beach shoes; need new iron - very dirty and no finish left - was afraid to use it on my clothes; closets were used for storage of an empty Mr. Coffee box, picture frames, lampshades, blinds - people are coming there to put "their" things in the closet - the owner's things should be stored elsewhere. I thought the facility would have more amenities such as a workout center. The pool was not a very pleasant place to visit - needs some plants???? It was also very noisy early in the morning and late at night. Also, I believe the entrance to the building should not have a parking spot in front of it because it was somewhat difficult to get everything into the building going around the side.

The door to the balcony stuck and the water in the Master Bath did not drain fast enought, but everything else was really good. Need TV in Master bedroom.

The place is awesome and we enjoyed. Unfortunately since we arrived we were given the wrong keys and have to wait for about an hour to get into the apartment. After we left we realized that we have forgotten some DVD's and CD's so we call the Young's office and requested for those items via mail and we were going to pay for the postage. We never received the items. Some one kept them which is the same as stolen.
