We stayed in Lighthouse Penthouse 2 and loved it. We had a great view and a constant breeze. We had a total of 10 people in the condo, 6 adults and 4 kids. All of the rooms were nice and having 4 bathrooms was a plus. We had plenty of room with the bar chairs and the dining table for eat in meals. We had nice furniture on the balcony as well. The only down side was only having 2 parking passes with 3 different cars. We were able to park one vehicle outside the property in a small parking area that had around 4 spots. The only downside was having to walk all the way around the fence to get onto the property. I understand that this is a problem with most 4 bedroom condos and it is mainly up to the homeowners association and not the rental company. All in all it was a nice stay and we would consider staying again.

Condo has great layout and is quiet. It is nicely decorated but there were some issues. Disposal did not work properly, handle came off of oven, sleeper sofa was broken. The Tv's are a joke. They must be 25 years old. The main issue was power was out all night in the condo with no one from Young's Suncoast available to fix it. We asked for a night refund and Young's responded with $50 certificate to Sea & Suds. The power went out again the next night and we were without aC for several hours. We again asked for a night's refund and Young's refused and became angry that we asked. We would rent again as long as Young's Suncoast is not the property manager. They are not customer friendly.

We apologize for this situation. The issue was a main breaker in the building and was less than three hours total outage between both instances which is why a refund was not offered for the second night. You were never charged for the first night of your stay to begin with which is again, why no refund was offered. We do everything we can to make every stay as perfect as possible. However, sometimes building issues are out of our control.

What a great place for the family. We were looking at getting two condos until we found the Lighthouse. Very clean, nice pool area and gorgeous beach at our fingertips. Can't wait until our family can all get together again. We will be staying again.

This unit was perfect for our family! The amenities, the view, the location - everything was great. I would highly recommend it if you have a larger group that needs space but yet enjoy being together. We we definitely be back. The people at Young's were great to work with as well. Gulf Shores is the perfect family vacation spot. Great restaurants, shopping and lots of things to do in the area.

Oil was in the Gulf. The pools were nice. The ceiling leaked (due to rain) but they repeatedly tried to fix it.

We had a really good time this summer and enjoyed our stay with Lighthouse condo. We normally rent a house, so this was a change for us but really enjoyed the pools/hot tub. The only problem we had was parking. Stayed in a 4 bdrm, 4 bath condo with only 2 parking spaces provided. We had 3 different vehicles and were refused extra parking space quite rudely. Was told the adjacent condo unit had no problem with allowing extra vehicles, which we will check into next time as well. The convenience, accessibility, elevators, etc., were great.

We have been staying at the Lighthouse for years.
We stayed at the old Lighthouse & now the new one every since it opened. I used to stay at the Lighthouse with my parents as a teenager, then after I got married, my husband and I stayed there, and as we had our children all of us would stay there. Now we stay there with my kids and grandchildren. We like the location and love Gulf Shores, that's why we all come back each year on our vacation. -

The unit was nice but a few things did not work.....coffee pot, dvd player, t.v., radio and the oven had cleaning spray inside and started to smoke when turned on. We stayed on the 19th floor and there were peanut shells on the floor by the elevator for quite a few days so I am thinking the cleaning people did not come up there much. For the amount of money we paid I think I expected things to be in good working order. It would have been nice if one of the outside pools were heated, the water was very cold in both pools. Nice but would probably try somewhere else next time.

We have stayed in Gulf Shores before. This was our first time to stay at the Lighthouse and our first time to use Young's Suncoast Rentals. We recommend both. The Penthouse was a real treat. It can accomodate up to 10. We had 8, which was perfect. It's hard to find units with multiple queen-sized beds. Extra bedrooms often contain twins. This is the perfect condo for multiple couples. It basically has two master suites. We loved the layout. It was a perfect beach trip for our family.

This was an absolutely beautiful penthouse condo where we enjoyed a week on the beach during July 4th.
Overlooking the ocean we were able to walk to the beach with the kids or just go downstairs to a wonderful "walk in" pool. There was always plenty of pool chairs and pool facility was wonderful for both adults and children.
Wonderful oversized balcony provided spacious area for the entire family to enjoy both the view and to celebrate the fireworks.
Bedrooms were well decorated and quite comfortable, living area spacious and kitchen was well stocked and easy to work in. Washer and dryer kept us with plenty of towels and clean clothes for the kids.
Overal a 5 star vacation, facility and penthouse condo. Would definitely return!! -

Four couples stayed for 5 days at this incredible penthouse. So many times the pictures you see on the internet are not what you see when you arrive at the property, but that was not the case this time. Everything was just as it was advertised, and the place was spotless when we arrived. Actually, it was better in person than in the pictures.
The view of the gulf from the living room/dining room from the floor to ceiling windows was beautiful. The view from the very spacious balcony was even more spectacular. We spent every evening there.
Would we recommend this facility to anyone else? Absolutely, and we hope to make a return trip in the near future. -

This condo is large and has wonderful accomodations for the whole family. My parents and sister's family came and we loved the private bedrooms and the large kitchen where we prepared several meals. The kids loved the pools. The zero entry pool was great for my 3 year old niece. The beach is nice and just a short walk from the pool area. The location of the condo to the restaurants and other activities is wonderful. I could live there! And we'll be back soon!

I wished we had been given the time to enjoy our stay at the Lighthouse, but having been there only two days, we got a horrible phone call from home. Our 22 yr old nephew had been killed, so we immediately returned home to our loved ones.

The condo was nice and the beaches are nice. The only problem was exercise room was small and there was not tennis courts. The condo's were clean.
