The location of this condo was perfect!!! The photo's were very true. My family rented this condo for Thanksgiving and our 13th wedding anniversary. From the moment of booking with Tiffany at Suncoast to having Jimmy come (quickly) when I lost our key with a replacement, there is nothing bad we could say about our visit. Suncoast even got the weather in Gulf Shores to cooperate. 75 and 80 wow, what a relaxing way to spend the holiday, laying on the beach!!! I would certainly recommend Suncoast and the Lighthouse, both were perfect.
P.S. you might want to bring a blender if you enjoy a frozen drink, that is the only thing missing on this trip... It's all good!! -

The rooms were super clean, and very elegant. We had a great view of the beach and surroundings. We enjoyed the Jacuzzie, the room made us feel very comfortable and warm.

We have been staying in Orange Beach since Young's By The Sea was demoed. We loved the location of The Lighthouse...walking distance to Sea & Suds, downtown, State Park Pier, etc. We couldn't have asked for nicer accomodations than what Lighthouse 1709 provided-decor was beautiful. Even with the oil spill the view of the gulf was awesome and the July 4th fireworks were spectatular.

This was my first time staying at the Lighthouse, and I would return in a heartbeat. We reserved a one bedroom unit, since it was just the two of us. The unit also had a bonus room, which would have been perfect for a small child or infant.
The view was amazing and the entire grounds were very clean and well kept, as was the unit itself. We were there for Shrimp Fest, and this condo was a quick walk, maybe a quarter mile, to the festivities. It is also a short drive to many restaurants, bost touristy and more local spots.
The condo has two huge (and CLEAN!) outdoor pools and hot tubs and is directly on the Gulf. And the staff at Youngs Realty were as nice as always.
My only complaint is my pants are a bit tight after four days of good old southern food. -

We always rent thru Young's Suncoast. Not only are there alot of properties to choose from, but they are always so nice to deal with. Reservations are a breeze, check in is easy, fast and convenient! We always get a very nice, clean unit with a fabulous view! The beds are SO comfortable! We always look forward to our next visit! Thanks Youngs for always making our stay so enjoyable! We can't wait to come back! :)

The Lighthouse is a wonderful place to stay. There are lots of nice amenities. My husband & I stayed in 1709 last year as well. We liked it so much we didn't see any reason to stay anywhere different ths year & possibly be disappointed. We plan on returning next year.

This August 5 of us stayed at the Lighthouse in Gulf Shores. We had our 2 girls ages 9 and 6 with us and they just loved both of the pools. Our room was very clean and had everything we could ask for, even a blender to make smoothies and frozen drinks. The view off the balcony was breathtaking and all the furniture out there made it easy to sit out and enjoy. I loved the full sized washer and drier because I was able to throw a load of laundry in go to the beach and when I got home I unpacked all clean clothes! The only things I could suggest would be a couple extra pillow cases and maybe some scratch paper to jot down directions. Otherwise it was perfect! The condo was in a great location. Whether you wanted to go to Orange Beach or stay in Gulf Shores everything was close by. Eveytime I dealt with a representative from Young's Suncoast they were very courteous and if they didn't have an answer to my question they would find out and call me back in a timely manner. A great Vacation all around!!! Thank You!

The pictures simply do not do justice to the beauty of the decor of 1709 and all the comforts are available! The kitchen was extremely well-equipped. While we enjoyed our stay, I have serious issues with Young's Suncoast and I have been a customer for 20+ years!!!! Customer service there has reached an all-time low!! NO appreciation for loyal customers! Talked with a "neighbor" on the beach who told me they'd paid $500 less than we had for the same size unit and length of stay. When I asked Young's about the difference, I found out that I "SHOULD HAVE ASKED" for the SPECIALS! I WILL use another realtor for our stay in Gulf Shoures next summer and every summer after!!

Our family really enjoyed the this condo. The location was great, parking was easy, beach was close, pools were the best we've found. The room was very clean, neat, nicely decorated and very quiet. Best place we've stayed at in Gulf Shores or Orange Beach yet.

The room was nice but the,but had a really bad smell. I mean really bad smell. not sure if it was pet order or a dead rat. everytime we walked it that was the irst thing you would notice. Also the pool were kinda dirty. and not much shade by pool area.Elevator were way to slow.For the size of the building there should have been more.

My family and I spent four nights at The Lighthouse in July. We were extremely impressed with the service at Young's Suncoast when we picked up the keys to the condo. It was so simple and easy. The condo was beautiful and the building was clean and well kept. Checking out was as delightful and easy as checking in. I have since recommended it to our friends and family.

This was our first visit to Gulf Shores. What a wonderful 4th of July we had. We normally stay in a hotel, but this condo turned out to be a much better deal. We stay 4 days and enjoyed every minute of it. The condo was BEAUTIFUL!!. Very Well kept, excellant furnishings, great view. We we diffently recommend this unit and would love to come back to it.

Excellent condo with a fantastic view of the gulf. Very nice to have 2 baths. The enclosed entry by the elevators was great to keep the sometimes chilly wind off your back while entering or leaving the condo. Centrally located for golf, tennis, walking, shopping and eating establishments. Wish the TV's had a larger number of channels available. Wonderful experience.

This is our truly relaxing vacation each year. We have stayed at the Lighthouse twice now and love the locations. We love getting up and having breakfast on the balcony. It is also close enough for us to walk back and forth to the Shrimp Festival which we do several times during our stay.
The set up is great - it allows us enough space to have our privacy when we want. We love the fact that Gulf Shores is low key and don't have to worry about 'dressing up' when we want to go out to eat.
All around it's the trip we look forward to each year. And we'll be back next year.
