My biggest complaint is the garbage truck that showed up every morning around 5am. I know the dumpster needs to be emptied but when the dumpster is RIGHT outside the condo, 5am is irritating.

We vacationed during spring break and found that the location was great and the facility was suitable. The pool was heated which came in handy during the cold temps so the kids could splash and play. The beach was a short walk and wonderful for shell collecting and we even saw a dolphin just off shore! We had one maintenance issue while staying and it was addressed and corrected within 30 minutes!

The only thing was the toilets could have been cleaner, especially the one in the guest bedroom it was dirty on the front outside part.
Otherwise we like the place. Great Location. -

We bring our 2 & 4 yr old granddaughters each year to Gulf Shores. This has been by far the best rental we have stayed in! It was so spacious and the tv and dvd player in the girls room was sweet. With the beach only footsteps from the pool, it was a pleasure taking the girls to both each day. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The Sandpiper itself was an excellent place as usual, however 9b needs some upkeep. Carpets were dirty and dingy. It needs some painting of the trimwork in master bath. I would not choose this particular room at Sandpiper again

Except for being slightly smaller than the pictures showed it, the unit was great. Gulf Shores is a great vacation with plenty to do and also plenty of time to just relax.
My only suggestion would be to include more dishwasher soup and some basic spices. At premium summer prices it seems silly to force renters to buy these staples. -

I would rent from Sandpiper again but would reserve another condo besides 9B and would definitely rent through another management company than Bender. Bender Realty does not work well with their paying clients. Several times I e-mailed them about dates
and rental fees and NEVER received a response. That is unacceptable in this day with many competing rental agencies. They, in no way shape or form, reward loyal guests with discounts or any other rewards (a friendly tone or feedback when discussing and asking
about rates would be nice!). Other condos in the complex were much nicer, more recently updated, and cleaner than this particular condo. All condos are the same price according to view regardless of their condition. -

My mom and I have been coming to Gulf Shores since 1997...Although we ventured away from the Sandpiper ONE YEAR, we immediately returned. And will never stay anywhere else. We have always found this location to be quiet, relaxing, peaceful, clean, and comfortable -- everything we want in a vacation getaway. Thanks to the ladies at Bender, who are always so helpful. And thanks to the owners of Sandpiper for keeping your units well-stocked and ready for our annual visit!

Our condo was dirty, we found popcorn and other food items that were not ours. We had to move the sofa to find a shoe and found tons of dirt and debris. We had some issues with a group staying in 6A. The children were unattended, unsupervised and poorly behaved. They threw hard objects in the pool hitting me in the face and head, rough housed in the pool, ran around the pool and jumped on top of smaller children. Then they played in the elevator and broke it. I reported this to Bender but they were still wild and unattended. The security officer was extremely rude to my husband and children one night at the pool, which was uncalled for. This was our 6th stay at the Sandpiper and I can honestly say that we probably won't be back next year.

I took my family to this condo for our 1st ever trip to gulf shores. At the end of the week we were exhausted cause we had so much fun. I would definatly come back and recommend here for anyone to stay.

We found a number of articles under the beds and in the couches that were not picked up after the last guests. The other guests in the units were very friendly and spoke highly of the units.
