We stayed for a long weekend on the heels of hurricane isaac and we were happy to have a wonderful time and enjoyed the pool and the beach. The kids enjoyed having their own room with a tv and they loved eating snacks on the balcony. We would love to visit again sometime soon!!!

We took a trip with our 19 and 23 year old. Thought they would be bored but this was a fabulous place to go even with older kids.
Was great time at the beach, great time at night just watching fireworks and enjoying family time.
Go. dont wait . it was great -

Pros:
Condo was clean and comfortable.
The view was excellent.
Rental staff was very helpful.
Cons:
Other renters smoking on the balcony made sitting outside somewhat unpleasant.
Dishwasher door didn't seem to work correctly and oven mits would be a nice addition to the kitchen supplies.
Please look into replacing the sleeper sofa. I almost fell through the bed! The bed should be repaired.
Music from the club pool area at night detracted from listening to the waves. -

Net/net... we'd got back to AL Gulf Shores, but not this condo and perhaps not Bender. Our original condo was sold after I booked the reservation, but Bender neglected to mention it was for sale. The only other condo available meant we lost a night... which ended up ok b/c Memorial Day weekend at the Beach Club was a zoo. We did have to put up with all the painting, construction, cleaning (including chemical smells) as Beach Club prepped for the long weekend... it was if no one noticed until Wednesday perhaps they should start the process.
Beach was amazing and pools were clean!
Bon Secour Refuge Office was perfect for small kids and ranger couldn't have been more patient with all the questions my little ones had... -

Condo says accommodates 6 & we had 6. Therefore it would've been nice to have had seating for 6 on the balcony. The balcony itself is a very nice size. Ice maker is extremely slow. Toaster only toasts on one side at a time and dryer gets extremely hot & does not shut off on it's own. Clothes come out piping hot. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking. Condo was not very clean. You could see the filth on the floors when we arrived. 3rd couple said sofa sleeper was the worst ever. Even the cover was shredding apart on them. If this unit would fix or update appliances, replace the sofa sleeper and was cleaned, it would be a great improvement. The view is what makes this condo.

Situated on the 11th floor, the view is simply gorgeous and crowd noise from the pools below is nonexistent. With 4 elevators taking guests where they need to go, the wait was never more than a minute. Also the front door to the condo unit is only steps
from the elevator doors. This is very convenient when hauling and lugging a load of beach gear or groceries. And surprise...not a peep can be heard in the condo from elevator traffic. Thick walls! Also didn't hear much noise in the condo from guests above,
below or to the sides. Inside, the furnishings and decor are comfortable and pleasant. The kitchen is adequately stocked for eating in the condo. The only thing we were at a loss for was an oven mitt, but bought one later and left it there. The appliances
all work efficiently as we put the washer and dryer to good use every evening and ran the dishwasher a few times. Everything was all clean and dried. Having slept only in the king size bed, I can say it was comfortable, best rest I've had all year. All the
rooms have ceiling fans, ac works great and sliding glass doors work effortlessly (my small kids were opening them). This condo is perfectly roomy for a family of four. The grounds of the Beach Club are sprawling and well cared for. The pools were always clean
and there are plenty of chairs available (in August). The beach is gorgeous and while the walks on the boardwalks are a long trip to the beach, the walk is pleasant as you look over the sand dunes and beach grass and sea oats. Showers are plentiful in the
pool and at the boardwalk entrances with lots of comfortable shower mats that prevent slipping or standing water. We ate a few lunches around the pool from the tiki hut, good, but don't forget a trip to Tacky Jacks during sunset--Gorgeous. Great seafood food
too. The folks at Bender are always so cheerful, friendly and helpful. We'll be back for sure. -

The sliding doors were VERY HARD to open, they need some form of lubricant!!!! Screen doors were not operable. Bed covers are very dirty looking, sure need replacing.

This was our first trip to Gulf Shores. This unit was very nice, clean and well equipped with a large balcony with great views of beach. Beaches were in great shape; little to No oil issues issue at all. We look forward to our next trip. My only recommendations; the guest room needs black out curtains due to lighting in corridors. Also bring your own beach chairs and umbrella unless you want to pay $25 a day for rentals.

I really should have called to have it cleaned. If I had not taken Lysol with me, I certainly would have. I did, however, call about the faucet in the sink, which was apart and on the counter. A plumber came to fix it. He got it back on but water sprayed out when turned on. So...I would certainly stay at the Beach Club again but I would not stay in this unit unless I knew that there was a new cleaning service and it had been thoroughly cleaned! Again, besides our room, the Beach Club itself was wonderful!

We guarantee 100% satisfaction with our housekeeping and we urge you to call our office upon arrival at your condo if the housekeeping is unsatisfactory. The departing tenant before this guest arrival reported the kitchen sink leak and the repair was still in progress upon this guests arrival. Again we are very sorry for any inconvenience and look forward to making your next stay an excellent one.
