We always stay at Castaways, always love it. Access to shops and places to eat nearby also makes Castaways a nice and easy place to stay. Anchor's check in and check out process is smooth. Had two items in the condo that needed attended to, Anchor had someone out and items fixed within hours.
Looking forward to next summer!

TexasGreat Unit, Complex Needs Work

Unit 3B is a unit with comfortable beds, plenty of space for four and excellent views of the beach and gulf. It was quiet, clean, and adequately supplied. The complex as a whole, however, had a few flaws. Parking was a huge issue...there isn't enough and the spots available are very tight. There was a sign up in the elevator stating that additional parking was available, but the spot indicated was blocked off by a construction fence. Speaking of the elevator; let's just say the smell reminded me of a frat house bathroom on Saturday morning-not good! Building management should really consider hosing it out every day. Additionally, lighting at night in the elevator area was poor which could potentially create a safety issue. On the plus side you can easily walk to a number of restaurants and beach access is excellent. Plus we had a maintenance issue while we were there and it was handled quickly at a mimimum of inconvenience to us.

Enjoyed our visit to the Beach. Loved the idea of the 1 free ticket for Beach things to do(Dolphin Cruise, Waterville & Hanggliding)with our Condo rental!! Wished 1 had been for Golf though.

We truly enjoyed our stay. Our unit was clean, beds were soft(especially the master) ,beautiful view of the beach and the pier, and everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Thank you so much and we will be back again.

We came to Gulf Shores for the Shrimp Festival and had a blast. The only problem we encountered was the shower heads in both bathrooms. They really need to be replaced. Other than that the condo was very nice and located in a great area within walking distance to everything. We would definately stay again. The Anchor Vacation Rental staff were very nice and very quick at check in and check out.

Unit 3B at Castaways is a great condo located in the heart of Gulf Shores. Convenient location for sure!! We love the picnic area by the pool. The trash area by the elevator was a little stinky, but it didn't bother us overall.
