We had a great time ! the condo was just what we wanted and provided a wonderful backdrop to a fabulous beach vacation. Gulf Shores was lots of fun and Bender Realty staff was very helpful and friendly.
There was a large party occupying the common pool area every night for get togethers. They were loud and didn't seem to notice that they were sharing the space with others. Esp. after 11 p.m. -

I chose the location so we could walk to the Shrimp Festival. Also fairly easy access during that time to the main roads. I would definately stay there again.

The property is located in a great place and the beach is right there out your door. The home was very could use some updating in the furniture and bedding, as I am sure it gets a lot of use which equals wear and tear. The kitchen was fully stocked and the appliances were in great working order.

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay here at Gulfside Townhomes #32. The unit had everything we needed and we enjoyed having a balcony off of the master bedroom as well as off of the living room. The direct access to the beach was great and because this property is a few properties away from high rise complexes on each side, the beach in front of this complex is not as crowded as it is a short walk in either direction. The pool is nice enough and provides a nice alternative/compliment to the beach. The car port area has enough room to keep all of your beach stuff.
The only real negative with the physical unit is, when it rains the water comes off of the roof in a manner that floods the balconies.
Bender Realty was easy to work with. A major problem which occurred with the unit on the second day of our stay was fixed as quickly as could have been expected and while certainly an inconvenience, was rectified to our satisfaction. -

We've been coming to Gulf Shores for 13 years now and the only time we didn't stay at Gulfside was after the hurricanes hit because our unit was one that was being repaired. As long as you have the townhomes we will be coming back because it's like our home away from home. Can't wait for next year!

Our family had a fantastic time on our first vacation to Gulf Shores! This property is located perfectly between the restaurants, shopping and the ocean. Bender Reality's staff was more than accommodating. The exterior is nice. The property's pool was a nice feature when we wanted a break from the ocean. The interior of this unit is starting to show some age. It is appropriately decorated and sufficiently supplied; however, the carpets, tile floors and furniture could use a thorough cleaning. I realize that it is hard to keep a property spotless next to water and sand, but along the baseboards, behind and under the furniture we found items that should not have been missed. Some of the kitchen's dishes were put away dirty or wet. It had been vacant days before we came in, so hard to say how long they'd been like that! I washed everything before we used it. In a nutshell, we paid a hefty cleaning fee to rent the property, so I was expecting a little more attention to the cleanliness of the unit. The spare full bath's shower doors kept coming off track and the master bath's tub drain didn't seal well. I reported both of the bathroom's concerns our last day, so hopefully they've been fixed. Everything else was nice and in working order. One morning we were awoken at 7:30am by the mowing crew with extremely loud industrial equipment and it lasted for an hour. This is my vacation, so I would've appreciated them waiting until 10! Even though I've listed several negative comments, the positive's outweigh them and we'd probably stay at this unit again. Hope this helps. Honesty is the best policy!

This was an awesome experience! Our condo was superb! The view was beautiful from our balcony. The grounds were kept very clean. It looked exactly like the website showed. The gals at Bender Realty were very nice and helpful! Awesome experience!

The townhouse was nicely decorated and the recent kitchen renovations added to the functionality of the kitchen area. The only area needing attention is the bed in the master bedroom which was very soft. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will probabaly stay in unit 32 again.

This place was great! We had a minor repair on the railing that at check in we noticed was coming out but Bender had someone there a few hours and a repairman in 2 days. We loved our townhouse compared to our friends-We had friends in 10 other units. Total we had 11 families and 47 people. This was a great place, location and in walking distance of many attractions and accomodated all ages. We would definatley come back and stay here. #32 is a more updated and open unit from the ones we did see. It was great. Was disappointed that no internet unless you paid and that was not on the website description.

The place was in a great location and in good condition. I wouldn't necessarily classify it as "luxury," but when you're at the beach all you need is a good locale with working amenities. Everything was clean and in good working order. And it's a great price!

Our 8th.year here.A very convenient location and excellent amenities. Only negatives were the uncomfortable pull out sofa (we put an air mattress on top), the tile floor made our feet black, and the college students in another unit keeping us awake at night.But we will be back.

We have been going to Gulf Shores for the past eleven years and the only time we didn't stay at Gulfside Townhomes was the year the hurricane hit. We love the area and plan to come back for many years to come.

We were originally scheduled in a different unit and didn't find out until all of our stuff was unloaded that the air cond. wasn't working. I guess my biggest disappointment was that we were not going to stay right next door to my family as planned. Yes we were put in another unit and the air cond. there was able to be fixed. I just thought a financial discount would have been appropriate.

We've been going to Gulf Shores for the past ten years and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. The only time we stayed in a different condo was when the hurricane hit and we couldn't wait to get back to our Gulfside Townhomnes. We've met some wonderful people and made lifelong friends! Already counting down for next year!

This is our 3rd time to stay at this property and our 1st time to call the office regarding a problem. On Sunday evening I reached a man by the name of Jim (?) to report that our A/C was registering 77 degrees at 9:00 pm. Jim asked why was that not cool enough for us and told me it was hot outside that day. He would call an A/C man and call me back on the condo phone. He called my cellphone and made referrence that I must not be at the condo after all because I did not answer his call. I told him I was at the condo but the phone had not rung. Oh he says the phone must not be working either! Nothing was done about the phone but an A/C man was called to the property but, could not find anything wrong but a dirty filter which he replaced. This did not resolve the problem and the A/C never cooled below 75 for the whole week. It was just not cool enough at night while me and my family slept. Jim made me feel that it was an inconvience to get someone out there. We came with 7 other couples and their kids who were in other condos on the same property and there A/C's registered between 70 & 72, so I know that the weather outside was not the issue.

Unit 32 was great. The main problem that we saw, was the dryer. It was terrible. There is a note on it saying that it works, but just takes a long time to dry. It's awful. It takes 2-3 hours to dry a load of laundry. To me, this means that the dryer really doesn't work porperly. The dishwasher was excessively loud also. It's such a beautiful place, it's a shame to listen to the dryer running so much and the loud dishwasher.

We have stayed at Gulfside for almost 10 years now,(Ivan forced us to the Driftwood one year)and have such wonderful memories. We travel down each year with a group and treasure all the memories we have. We so prefer the 3 floor living style to the elevator, condo buildings. We just love parking right under our unit and being able to bring our lawn chairs and bikes with us and leave them downstairs and not in the room. The "U" shaped design with the central pool area is so perfect for us. When our children were younger, we could watch them from the balcony. I'm always impressed with the way the area is kept, and we have very much enjoyed our interactions with Bender Realty. As for unit 32, which we have stayed in for several years in a row, it's one of the best, but I think it's time the dryer is replaced. the worn out sign that says, "this dryer takes along time to dry, there is nothing wrong with it"??. It's time to "pink pony up" and replace it....
