Loved our place. The maintenance and cleaning people were very quick to take care of some needs we had the first couple of days. The pool may need to have a camera or fake camera to deter improper activities. Our dryer ran the whole time-it's slow to dry. I think I got an infection from the hot tub, but I loved the overall experience and would do everything the same. :) Teri

We visited the first week of April with our two children. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well as the condos proximity to the beach. Great place to stay with young children and we enjoyed the many activities in the area.

This was our fourth year going to Gulf Shores, Al. This was our best condo experience. Great location. Bender Reality was prompt with any problems that occured with condo.

We came into town a little early and immediately called Bender Realty about checking in early. We found out that we indeed could check in early and were happy to learn that as we drove all night. We enjoyed the condo very well, and enjoyed how close we were to the beach! We had great views! If the bed got updated, it would be a 5 star resort, none-the-less, great place to stay!

The location of the rental was great. We loved being so close to the beach. The pool was small but the kids loved it. It's has a shallow end of the pool that was great for toddlers. The condo was pretty dirty around the edges. There was extra pillows but no extra pillow cases. No extra blankets. We had to put the sheets on the bunk bed. And the dryer didn't dry the clothes. These are little things, but it wouldn't have taken too much to make the place great.

This location is right on the beach, it's the 2nd condo place back from the beach, great view, great beach access. Dryer takes 2-3 cycles to dry anything. Place could use some updates, especially in the bathroom area. But it was a great get away for the cost. Nothing high class, just right for our family. You will have to move up and down 2 flights of steps. The pool and spa area were clean and user friendly. Great place to vacation! Carpets had been cleaned before our arrival and were not 100% dry, but we managed. Again Great Beach Vacation!!

Wonderful location. The pool was small but great for us! Great view of the beach. The property had all the kitchen supplies we looked for or needed. Condo management was very friendly and answered a few questions we had. The condition of the property was not ideal, but was expected from viewing other comments and knowing it was not home. Nothing major to worry about, except the dryer... Took 3 cycles to dry our three beach towels, so pack with this in mind! Overall, we were very happy with our beach escape!

The staff was the best. The condo was furnished just right, all we needed was food. To walk out of condo and sit on the balcony each morning and enjoy the view was awsome. Distance to beach was perfect and just a small ride to anything we wanted to do. I think the only thing I would recommend would be internet in the condo for the rainy days.

We stayed in this condo May 3rd-9th & if this condo was a clean condo it would have been a great condo, but sad to say...this condo was gross! The toilet was said to be cleaned with tape over the seat and it clearly was not with puke running down the sides..not to mention the puke stained bath rugs...The shower/bath tub had hair in it and clearly again was not cleaned! The beds had both human and animal hair in them. A man came to clean the toilet and when we told him all the other things that were wrong, he said that a cleaning person would come. The cleaning person never showed up...so not only did we have to buy cleaning supplies, we had to get sheets for the bed. The garbage disposal & trash can smelt like rotten fish. The fridge even had a hair in it?? The two sofas had food and hair all on them. For charging a $100 cleaning fee this was beyond pathetic. If this was a hotel room I would have asked for a new room. Other than that we had a great time Gulf Shores!

My son, my mom and I enjoyed a wonderful, relaxing stay at SunChase 205. Easy beach-access and nice beach-view from the unit. The pool is a bit small but was fine for a quick dip after returning each day from the beach. It was a little hard lugging the suitcases up 2 flights of stairs upon arrival, but thankfully I had a big, strong, 11-year-old who was willing to help make the numerous trips up and down the stairs on our day of departure. The unit was very clean and well-stocked with everything we needed for a 4-day getaway. We look forward to our next visit...soon!!!

The condo was a little smaller than I expected - but still had all the basics. The location is wonderful - great to be able to just walk back and forth to the beach! The best part was plenty of room on the beach! Since the bldg doesn't have as many condos - there were less people competing for space on the beach! Great place to stay!

Location great - within walking distance to beach. We were amazed that people left their umbrellas and chairs overnight at the beach. That was great - no hauling.
The condo was ok. Nasty water stain on ceiling. Kitchen not equipped very well. Bathroom could use a makeover.
I guess you get what you pay for - the price was low.
I'd recommend but with the disclaimer of the issues above. -

2nd bedroom sleeps 2 on bottom 1 top bunk tv's out dated, 13 inch tv's in bedrooms no remote in big bedroom , but didn'go to watch tv. nice place to relax.

I loved this rental. I would have given it all the stars in the sky if the mattresses on all three beds were replaced every 20 years or so. These were at least 90! We woke up with back pain everyday. I still can't get my back to loosen up. Please get new
matresses! The bunk beds might as well had no mattresses at all and the queen was so slumped in the middle, my in laws basically slept on top each other. Other than that it was wonderful! Change the beds and it is our vac spot everytime! -

The water/mold stain on the living room ceiling and on the bathroom floor were tough to look at all week. We called Bender and someone came to look at it. He asked when it would be convenient to come back and paint it. I told him but we never saw him again.
The living room furniture was full of sand. The location was great and we loved the beach and restaurants. May go back to GS but look for upgrade on unit. I guess you do get what you pay for - this was on the low end. -

We were very pleased with our stay at Sunchase. It was very affordable and right on the beach! We spent the majority of time on the beach, the pool or in town mainly coming back to the room to eat or sleep. The room does have wifi access and we found the
instructions on the refrigerator. There were plenty of pots and pans and silverware for preparing food. I have no complaints other than I wish we had booked for a longer stay. -

Overall I would say this is a ok place to stay. Its right on the beach which is perfect. The condo itself though is pretty old and outdated. If you are looking for a nice updated place then this is not the place for you...

Bender staff was very helpful in regards to getting us a shortcut to the office during bad traffic jam. We had to vacuum carpet & found debris under furniture. Was quite disgusting! Need better housekeeping. Overall enjoyed out stay mainly due to the location.

We had a great time at Gulf Shores! The room was perfect for us! Very short walk right down to the beach. The kithcen was stocked with all nice cookware and the Air conditioning worked very well. The only complaint would be that I dont think the cleaning crew did a very good job ... we moved the love seat and found things that had probably been there for months!! The room needs a new porch light and shower curtian liner, but overall very nice. It is an older condo, but well kept. Perfect for a small family ... the sofa does not make out to a sleeper like the website said. The pool was closed for a few days and the kids missed that at night. Overall - very nice!

Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. We didn't receive a lot of general information, for example, we were told our condo did not have wi-fi, but eventually found wi-fi info on the refrigerator. We also did not receive any wrist bands for the pool, nor were we told we needed them until we saw the sign at the pool. The overall condition of the condo was fair, but it was very clean and the location was great.

The condo was really nice. Unbelievably close to beach. The only downfall for my wife and I was the beds. It was just the two of is and between the 3 beds and the couch we couldn't find a really comfortable place to sleep. The location is great. Close to bars, restaurants, souvenir shops, and entertainment spots. We will be staying here again.

The cleaner crew is way over paid!! The rugs in the bathroom and kitchen were so dirty!! Which we fixed it by washing them. The toilet and bathtub were also dirty!! I should have called Bender Realty but it was nothing that we could not have fixed so we just did a little cleaning. The property was in a great location to everything. We enjoyed our stay in Gulf Shores.

My family and I had our vacation on the gulf coast in gulf shores Al. we stayed in Sunchase 205. I could not have been more happy about the condo. It was very tastefully decorated, but most of all very clean. Thanks yoou cleaning staff!!!We had a view of the ocean and at night when our 3 yr. old slept, we sat on the balcony (not private) but I must say it was more peaceful there than at my home. The beach (water) was appr. 100 yards from the condo. perfect for a family. Shopping and resteraunts only minute( by car) away. To make a long story short, I would strongly advise anyone who wants a pleasent vacation to book this condo and I'm sure every condo at this property is decorated differently but I don't think you could go wrong with this complex. My family will be future guest.

Overall it is a pretty nice place. Pool is small but nice. No elevators though. Only gripe is if it rains you cannot sit on balcony because water will fall on you. Balcony roof is like a deck so water above falls on floors below.

We booked this last minute trip through online. For $101 per night, the condo was adequate with a side view however, the unit was quite old and rather shabby. My biggest pet peeve was that the unit itself was rather dirty (especially the bathroom), yet I was charged an $86 cleaning fee. Lightbulbs were burned out and there were no batteries in any of the remote controls for the tv's. I'm sure maintenance would have come to the unit to take care of this, but for a long weekend we were not willing to wait around for someone to show up for minor problems, so we did not call. Also, there is no elevator and LOTS of stairs up to the 2nd and 3rd floors! The pool is extremely small and usually monopolized by small children. My other chief complaint was that they imprinted my credit card and had me sign it blank (which I did not like!). I was assured it would be shredded upon check-out. At check-out time, I was told my my credit card receipt was locked in the safe, but no one could produce it for me. I was assured that it would be shredded in a couple of weeks. I truly dislike people that tell me one thing, and then do another! Just remember, pictures can sometimes be deceiving!

Worse condition in the ten years we have been to GS, the beach to the west of the complex was littered with chairs, cans and remnants of shade tents. Hot tub was too hot but GS residents are very friendly!
