We had a group of 12 people come down for spring break last week and we absolutely loved the place. The pictures do not do it justice. It was located directly on the beach and within walking distance of most of the major places, anywhere that we could not walk to was less than a 5 minute drive away. We will definitely be back!
Area is great house needs some up keep.

When we checked into the rental the house wasn't as clean as it should've been. Sand all over the floors, dead bugs in the corner and cushions of the couch standing up. Not very welcoming. The house needs some repairs to make it nice. Just small things like new door knobs that work, new toaster (that works), silverware for as many people as the house accommodates. The gulf shores area is beautiful. We zip lined and that was great and also enjoyed the Zoo.
This was the back up house???

We arrived in gulf shores very excited about our vacation! Then we got to our first house and the ceiling was falling in and water was coming in the house. Also there was mold around the vents. You see we were actually suppose to stay at Summer Winds East. So the guy has us change to this house but now we have to leave a day earlier because someone had already reserved that house for the next weekend. However we did get a refund for that day. The house was in ok condition we have small children and the floor tiles were cracked and breaking so we had to be careful to not let them walk on it. There was also mold on the counter island. The whole house could use some TLC. Will I ever use youngs suncoast again? No! I felt they should have handled everything way better! We were very excited to go to what we thought was a really nice place. And wound up having to cut our vacation a day short and stay in a not so great place.

We were very disappointed after we checked into the house. Putting things away in the kitchen cabinets we discovered live baby roaches walking around in them. We reported it and they had someone come to the house. He was a maintenance person. He informed us he had sprayed the day before and the bugs were in the process of dying. Either way...very nasty having them on everything we were expected to eat on. We had to wash everything we used for cooking before we could use it. Didn't see any more until the day before checkout when we saw them again in the same area of the kitchen. Way to much money paid to have to deal with bugs!
There were a couple of closets that needed the doors repaired since they wouldn't stay on the tracks due to broken hardware. Sticky tacky dirty paint on the doors and stair railing area. Very clean upstairs in the bedrooms for the most part. Carpeting in the house needs replaced. The refrigerator seals are shot. Nothing stays cold and it sweats so badly inside that puddles of water form. Outstanding aC in the house! Flood lights on the back deck are hanging off. The house lights blink everytime the dryer is on. Very low water pressure in showers. Oh and there were only 4 forks and a few knives so those need to be restocked since 13 can stay there.
We were disappointed in the condition of the house. We brought our adult children and grandchildren for a family vacation. The beach and view at this house could never be beat and was absolutely awesome!! The people at Young's were a pleasure to deal with from booking to checkout. Very friendly people and very helpful.

The house was pretty much just like it was supposed to be...The view is breath taking and could not be better. The aC worked great for those who hate hot weather!!! Sheets were very soft (good to have after a day in the sun)...The living room/kitchen/dining room is small for the number of people who can "sleep" there...but if you have a well planned out "menu" and schedule, it works very well...if you can get the responsibility party who is to be cooking off the beach. Lol, In all seriousness it was great location, great place to stay and have all intentions of doing it again...(Ps---could use a new dust mop/broom to get the sand up)
What a great place to stay!!!

I completed the survey and dropped it off with keys.
However I have one suggestion for the company.
I was disappointed that you do not offer recylcing at the homes, especially during Spring Break many cans and bottles ended up in the trash. Also I don't know if Gulf Shores has a Food Shelf but think it would be a good thing for your company to contribute to. We stayed for a week and so we did not use all our food and with flying home, we had to throw unused food in the garbage, kind of a waste.
We had a great time!!

The house has a great location and was well stocked with everything we needed. We plan to rent this one again!
We have rented from Young's for several years and they have always been great!
Just the place we needed

The company was really great about letting us check in a little early because the property was ready. They gave us great directions to get to the office and provided extrememly friendly service upon check-in. The house and property were more than we could ask for. We had read a review saying that there was not enough dishes for all the people staying there, but we had more than enough dishes, pans, and utensils. The beachfront property was perfectly located and very private. The company came in to check on us because all of the furniture is new, which we thought was nice, but they came extremely early in the morning! Overall, we really liked the friendly service and great experience this rental allowed us to have. We would recommend it to anyone.

Young's Suncoast representatives were always friendly and willing to "make it happen". The house we rented is the same one we rented last year and we would rent again. It is very spacious and has wonderful facilities. The location is great as we had the beach all to ourselves, it is far enough away from the downtown, yet close enough to run and get supplies. We like the covered porch area as my mother has bad legs and she enjoyed sitting out there in the breeze and watching us on the beach. If anything, it could use more kitchen supplies, plates, bowls, silverware and a few more bath towels. We were constantly washing them.
Okay but not great

The location was good for us, away from the condos but close to town. We were disappointed in the cleanliness and lack of eating utensils and glasses. It sleeps 12 but only had enough utensils and glasses for 5. There was mold on some of the shower curtains. It was a bit on the small side. The price was less than most so that helped.
