We really enjoyed our stay! It was an all inclusive location. When we didn't want to go to the beach, the pool was a walk out of the door. Our family loved it!
We tried to rent the same location this year. However, it is only available for weekly rentals. I really wish the owner would consider renting it for a shorter time. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home! -

the house was awesome. the deck out over the water was great for that late afternoon relaxing sunset and the pool right out the door was so convenient. and the beach and its beautiful whaite sands was just a short 2 blocks away. i have absolutely nothing to say bad about this location!

This was our third year at "On Golden Pond -8", and we hope to be back many times! We love unit 8-B because the colors are bright and cheerful, the floor plan/layout is roomy and we feel like we are "at home" there. The neighborhood is so nice, all the other renters/owners are gracious and friendly and we always make new friends. The dock is great fun for fishing and boating and the pool is always in good condition. We hardly noticed that there was anything unusual happening in the Gulf (oil spill) because of all the things to do in addition to the beach!

I was told by the rental agent that the pool was used by 4 homes and instead it is used by the entire neighborhood. The day we arrived the house was covered with ants. We had to call again the second day to have them come back to spray again because the ants were still there. The air conditioning unit upstairs did not work and was never fixed during our stay.

After researching the work orders, the following actions were taken: Home was sprayed for ants after it was requested/AC unit was called in on day of departure and was found by AC company to be in working order. This place was wonderful for our family. It was well equipped
and was more than able to house our large family. We enjoyed
early morning bible studies on the dock and even fished many
hours of the vacation. The pool was nice to have so close to the
unit. It was awesome and we will be back next year. So, stay
away from this unit for the month of May. It is ours! Just
Kidding:) You will love this get away!!!
