The ppl at Young's Suncoast were very nice. The vacuum was broken, when a new one was delivered & I used it the dirt container was 1/4 full. I also washed the sheets, in the beds we used, before sleeping in them. I felt the unit could use more thorough cleaning.
In the description it states the house sleeps 8 however there are only 6 dining rm seats & 5 living rm seats (couch & 2 chairs).

The Parsonage was wonderful. I really have no serious complaints. The house was very quaint and comfortable. The views were great from the master bed room. The back bedrooms had windows but no seaside view but the porch on the back afforded the view. The kitchen was nicely equipped but small but perfect for our family. The location was close to everything. We will definitely be back!

When we arrived at Youngs Suncoast at 3 p.m. our house had not been cleaned. Which we understood because check in is between 3 and 5 p.m. They told us rather rudely that the cleaners would call us when the house was ready and if we went to the property before we received the call the cleaners would leave and not come back. Which we understood but it was the rude way they told us that. We have been going to Gulf Shores every year for the past 10 years and have never rented from Youngs Suncoast and this will be our last. The trash cans outside when we arrived were both full and stinking. The dishes in the house all had to be washed before use. Which is the fault of the people that stayed there before, I know. The cable was not working and we called Y/Suncoast to inform them of this, the maintenance man came out and told us that the lines had been cut. According to the cable company they never received a call from Y/Suncoast to report our cable problem. The cable was finally fixed on Thursday only because my husband saw a cable worker at a house by us and asked him to come fix it. There was not a broom in the house to sweep sand so we had to go buy one. The doorknob on the downstairs bathroom was almost falling off. There was no water hose conection and the shower head sprayed water in all directions. Ice machine on refrigerator was not working. We have rented from Kaiser and Meyer in the past and will definitely go back with either of these companies in the future. So to sum it up we were disappointed in the house for the money we spent.

We have stayed at The Parsonage 4 times now, and it never disappoints us. It is right on the beach, close to everything and it has everything we need. I highly recommend it and plan to visit again every time I can get away to Gulf Shores.
This adorable home was the perfect spot for a mini vacation.

On the beautiful white beaches of Gulf Shores alabama. This duplex house was very comfortable and very clean. This house was adorable with all the needlepoint art and the lighthouses! The service from the Young's Suncoast personnel was professional and informative and kind and helpful. I liked this location because it was close to the water, only a few steps and your at the beach. The view was breath-taking. It was relaxing!

The pictures on line do not do justice to this home. The beach view is great. The home is very comfortable, and is filled with wonderful cross stitch of lots of lighthouses, and beach scenes. The kitchen must have just been redone, w/great countertops and tile. Small kitchen, but very nicely done. Quite adequate for the little cooking we did, as we go out and eat seafood every night. It was also conveniently located, but the beach was not overly crowded, as it was in a stretch of duplexes and singles and the closest high rise was far enough away. We highly recommend this home, we all loved it. The teenage boys classified it as "sweet".

We had a wonderful time. I did have to clean and sterilize the coffee maker due to the Jelly-like mold growing in it. Also, I was unable to use the internet that I had planned to use for work related material, but the router could not be plugged in to the wall due to the short cord. There was no internet.
Other than those couple of items, our stay was nice and we enjoyed ourselves.

This property was one of the nicest we had stayed, in our 20 years coming to Gulf Shores. The rooms were spacious, the veiw wonderful, the furnishings (especially all the lighthouses) were delightful. The kitchen needs an update to match the rest of the house. Getting to the beach from the house required an uphill climb and a lengthy walk but it was all worth it.
We will definately stay here again.
