Loved our vacation at Seacrest. Service personnel were friendly and professional. Had one issue with sliding door, but maintenance came immediately. Will certainly stay again!

Nice Older Condo on the Beach Front. Only one burner on the stove worked and bathroom could use a little better cleaning. Otherwise we had a good experience except the weather could have been a little better.
The view was lovely, but...

This condo was very dirty. Dishes, very dirty, silverware drawer was awful. We were in another unit beginning of summer that was wonderful on 8th floor, so decided to go back to same place as we house hunted in senior communities there. We spent 1st 2 hours there cleaning, washing dishes and pots & pans we would use, kept them out and never got anything else out, if we did, we washed it. Put sheets over furniture to sit on, never once used table & chairs, bought disinfectant spray and cleaned counter and stools to eat there. But, Young Suncoast rentals have offered to make it up to us by renting us another unit when we go end of month to close on our new home there. Young's Suncoast rental is awesome, not responsible for owner's not taking care of their own property, but, sure hope we do not get this unit when we go back. Nasty, is all I have to say about it and very dated. Everything in it needs replaced and or cleaned. Sitting on balcony was only good part of this condo. Even changed the sheets on bed, using other 1's inside out to cover furniture. But!! the sheets had looked used and were wrinkled, you knew someone else's head was on those pillows. Love Young's Suncoast Rental agency, very nice people to work with, but, I do not recommend this particular condo. Rather nasty. On my rating, I am rating the Serive of young's service, not on this condo!!!

The Condo had the potential to be really nice, but it was poorly maintained. The furniture was very uncomfortable and there was no coffee table. The carpet was very dirty and the walls needed a fresh coat of paint. The blender was broken. I have to say I have stayed in nicer hotel rooms, The only thing this condo had going for it was the gulf view. A little time and effort would go along way. Read more

Thank you so much for your feed back. After careful review, the owner has agreed to make some needed changes and is now working on the unit. We appreciate your response.

I loved being right there on the beach. I didn't care that the furniture was a little outdated. It didn't bother me in the least. The location was perfect close to restaurants stores etc. The condo was clean and had all the appliances that were needed. The one thing that I didn't find was a dust pan. This was much needed after coming in from the beach. I would definitely come back. :)

The condo is cute. It needs an icemaker and ceiling fans if possible. The bathroom could use some updates. The couch and chair in the living room was comfortable. The bed in the bedroom needs new mattresses. Nice view of the gulf, however the balcony floor needs to be mopped. The cable didn't work in living room when we checked in. A service person showed up and had to work hard and long to get it to work and the volume up and down buttons didn't work. For the price of this unit it should of been stellar.

We were looking for a low-cost condo on the beach for a last-minute vacation. This definitely met our needs. We have been going to Gulf Shores every year since 1990 and usually try a different condo each time. This had the best elevator and the easiest beach access we have ever enjoyed. The condo was small but we only had two children with us so it met our needs. Also for this time of year the beach in front of our condo was not crowded. I would highly recommend this room!
Cheap and nice

We stayed in 505 for 4 nights during Hangout Festival and it was awesome! The furniture was definitely a little dated and not as luxurious as some of the the other condos but it doesn't stop you from the main attraction, the beautiful beach view! You can literal walk down to the beach in seconds and the elevator is right there. We had the max occupants (6) stay in the condo and while it was a little cramped we weren't stepping all over each other. Had everything you could think of in the kitchen including a cheese grater but didnt have salt and pepper which would have been nice cause that's what we kept forgetting to get at the store! Oh well all in all was a steal for the price (about 200$ cheaper than all the other condos in the building)

After reading negative reviews about this condo after we made reservations, we had concerns but were pleasantly surprised to find it met our needs and was better than we expected.! Being right on the Gulf, we loved opening the balcony doors and listening to the sounds of the ocean and going out on the balcony to absorb the sunshine. We had a short car ride to restaurants, shops, etc but well worth it and highly recommend this condo!

The only negative thing about this unit was there was no ice maker. Also, the space where the refrigerator was situated made it very hard to get into the cabinets and refrigerator. Any other problems we had were very quickly taken care of. Renting agents were friendly and helpful. For the past 15 years, we have always stayed in Brett Robinson rentals on the beach but will definitely stay with Suncoast Rentals in the future. Prices are much more reasonable. We will be making reservations for this summer in Gulf Shores or Orange Beach and will definitely make the reservation through Young's Suncoast Vacation Rentals.

Gulf Shores is the place where my husband and I find ourselves each time we plan a quiet relaxing getaway. You often think of the beach as a place for the 'young crowd', but as a couple in our 60s we enjoy the simplicity of being able to check in and check out easily, walk into a space that is warm and inviting, check out restaurants, shopping, fishing, car rides up and down Beach Blvd enjoying the scenery, trips over to Mobile, and ending the day with a nice bottle of wine while sitting on the balcony watching the moon as it dances overlooking a beautiful gulf view. The home offers all the modern conveniences of you own home and provides easy access to the pool or beach. There is no one thing that I particularly liked best about the home; just the overall comforting atmosphere keeps us coming back year after year.
Fantastic for so many reasons!

My family and I (3 adults, 2 children) stayed here. We had a wonderful time. I unexpectedly became extremely ill while here and had to have surgery, which extended our stay. Due to the unusual circumstance, Young's worked with us so that my family would have a place to stay while I was in the hospital. Young's has the nicest people and great service. After I was able to leave the hospital and go home, they even called to check to see how I was recovering! These people really care. It is a business, but with a heart. I highly recommend Young's to anyone. Seacrest 505 was a wonderful stay and a beautiful room. There is an outdoor pool and hot tub. If we get to go back to alabama, this is where I want to stay. There are plenty of restaurants, stores (including Wal-Mart) and things to do for children and adults very close by. It is right on the beach with a beautiful view. Thank you so much Young's Suncoast!

The property was nice and reasonably priced. The beachview was great! The unit was clean, but showing some wear. Since there were only 2 of us, it didn't matter, but one of the dining table chairs was broken and kept in the bedroom closet. One huge annoyance was that the WiFi service was very sporadic, and cell phone service inside the unit was almost nonexistant. Overall, though, we were very satisfied with the property and had a great time.

Rental was great. The only things I would have to complain about is the patio table on the balcony was missing a leg. It was always falling over. Also the blinds on the sliding door did not function, so they could not be adjusted as needed. It would have been nice to have more towels - we were constantly washing. Ocean view and balcony overlooking pool was great with teens. The condo was spacious enough that I could enjoy the quiet of the bedroom while the teens enjoyed the living area. Overall, things were wonderful!

We booked this vacation w/out even knowing which condo we'd be staying in. While the pictures online do say "Sample", the actual unit was nothing like any of the pictures. The decor and overall feel of the unit was far different from what the pictures portrayed. In addition, although the unit was "clean", walls were scuffed up, the bottom of the refrigerator was rusted and marked up, and a few other areas needed some attention. Also, I realize you're expected to bring most of what you might need for your stay (i.e. food, toiletries, etc.), but there was literally one roll of toilet paper in the whole place. When you're paying nearly $200/night for a condo, you would think they could supply you with a bit more than that. My son enjoyed the bunk bed and the view was nice. The place was quiet, and overall, we enjoyed our stay. But I doubt we'll book this way again, as we were disappointed as to the difference in what we expected and what we actaully got for the price we paid.
The room was musty and moldy.

When we opened the door the smell from musty/moldy almost knocked us down. The carpet was nasty and we had a 2 year old with us. The whirlpool smelled and was green most of the time. On a good note, the view was great and the beach was beautiful. Read more
Response from Young's Suncoast Vacation Rentals - 06/09/2010
We apologize if your stay was less than 100% satisfactory. Unfortunately, the musty smell is a common smell at the beach in units that have been unoccupied for any length of time. We try to keep our air conditioning at a higher setting during vacancies to keep the cost down for the owner. Certainly, had we been aware of the situation during your stay we would have made every effort to correct it. We are glad however that you enjoyed your beautiful view and the information concerning the carpet will be passed on to the appropriate representative.

The condo was perfect for an inexpensive, small family getaway. Nice pool, beautiful beach waterfront view, dolphins in the morning AHHH! Wish the condo had been painted in bright colors, water pressure in the shower was very low, had to pay $55 because I got locked out and needed to get in. That was a little costly. Otherwise, nice trip.

We were very dissapointed in the condo itself. It was not as pictures looked, nor as Young's Suncoast described it. The pictures need to be updated, as there is alot of wear and tear. We got stuck in a broken elevator (no sign) and the sofa and carpeting was soiled. Suncoast Rentals was not willing to change our room without more money, so we were stuck there without any other option. We wasted half a day of our vacation trying to get it cleaned. I would not recommend this facility. This was not the owner's fault, but Suncoast themselves.

We were pleased with the condo, and excited to get the same exact room we had the previous year. I would say the throw pillows and furniture are starting to look dated, but we had everything we needed and more. Overall, the condo was very clean, including the bed linens. The vacuum needs to be cleaned, and the dryer vent needs to be replaced, but the washer/dryer worked fine.
We would definitely stay here again. The room is close to the elevator, so if you're a light sleeper, this might be an issue. Also, you can easily hear the trash pick-up around 6:00 am every morning, but this would be an issue at most of the condos.
Upon check-in, after driving for almost 9 hours, we were told there was a one vehicle limit, unlike last year. I asked about the overflow parking, and was told there wasn't any, and I could "go park our other vehicle at Wal-mart, or some other 24 hr. business for the week". Last year we paid for the extra space and parked in the overflow space, so didn't understand why I wasn't told about any changes when I made the reservation. Well, we worried about where to park the extra vehicle for the first two hours of our trip. Finally, after speaking with the security person at Sea Crest, was told by her that she had no idea why I wasn't able to get the extra parking permit. I had to wait for the two agencies to contact each other before I was finally able to drive back to Young's & get the permit. This was really the only issue we had on the entire trip, so it didn't really spoil anything, but was such a waist of time, and was very stressful. Needless to say, the overflow parking lot was empty for the entire week, other than our vehicle, and one other.
Check out is a breeze, and we love this area of the beach. We like the smaller size of Sea Crest, as opposed to some of the huge tower complexes. We feel like we have more beach area available to us by staying in a smaller tower.
Highly disappointing compared to other times we stayed at Seacre

We have rented from Youngs before and stayed at Seacrest and we were very satisfied before. This was the first time we rented 505. The dishwasher was broken. I don't mean it broke while we were there I mean it was broken before we got there, never worked. Youngs sent a service person out, very nice guy, could not fix it. Then on Monday the appliance service was sent out and they could not fix it. They claimed it had to be replaced. We waited the rest of the week for a replacement and it never came. We never even got another call about it. The small appliances were nasty. The unit was not all that clean, the bed was horribly uncomfortable, There was chipping paint and mildew in the bath. At checkout I complained about the unit and turned in a comment card. The Lady I spoke to was very kind and assured me I would hear something about our stay and all I have gotten is these "rate me" emails. The dishwasher should have been fixed all it takes is a phone call and cc number and it is done. My guess is the homeowner sat down on their pocket book and refused to spend the money while we washed dishes in a sink without a stopper and a filthy dish drainer. We also didn't know if anyone else would come to fix it so before we left each time we would have to hide money, PSP's Ipod's etc. None of this ruined our vacation but I seem to remember reading somewhere that working appliances were guaranteed and a comfortable bed would have been nice. I would not want to rent 505 again. I would probably use Youngs again.

Was a wonderful place to stay. Everything was clean. Very close to everything. Was not a long walk to beach (loved that). There was a rest room on the ground floor next to beach. Will stay here again for sure. Parking was easy also. Have stayed places where you had to search for parking and didn't want to loose your place. LOVED THE VACATION!

We have stayed at Seacrest several times and like the amenites and especially the fact it is a smaller property which makes it a quieter environment. We also like the "West Beach" area because it is not as built up although it's rapidly getting that way. Plans for many more return trips are in our future.
