Point Clear is a Duplex with 2 units each sleeping 10 for a total of 20 people if you rent both.

Our home, Point Clear, is a beach front duplex in the Fort Morgan area of Gulf Shores, AL but the home is named after a wonderful bayside community of just south of Fairhope, Alabama. The community of Point Clear is home to several wonderful golf courses, many oak lined bike trails where you can enjoy the beauty of Mobile Bay on one side and the arcitectural history of Alabama on the other.

Point Clear is also the home of the wonderful Grand Hotel where you can have one of the best breakfast or brunch buffets in the south east. (Seri...ously, call the Grand Hotel and get information about the breakfast buffet and make a plan to enjoy, its that good.) It was a regular treat for the Harris Family to get up on a Sunday morning, drive to Point Clear for breakfast and spend the day riding bikes around the area sightseeing and enjoying the wind through the majestic live oaks that cover the grounds of the hotel.

Point Clear is currently our only duplex and is possibly one the best vacation values available on the Alabama Gulf Coast. This was the first home built by Steve and Becky Harris and was designed to provide guests a relaxing vacation and a value price.

A large living room has windows on two sides and is open to the dinning area and kitchen. This family area allows everyone to be together if they want but also allows the bedrooms to be separated and secluded. A downstairs bedroom with a queen bed has its own porch. The upstairs bedroom is set up for a family with children and features a Queen bed, bunk bed and private full bath.

The master bedroom is also on the second floor and has a stunning beach front view. The bedroom features great views, a private balcony, and a full private bath.

This home is in the secluded Fort Morgan area of Gulf Shores, Alabama. Fort Morgan is a area about 10 to 20 minutes west of Gulf Shores, AL. The Bon Secure Wildlife Refuge is in between the For Morgan area and the city of Gulf Shores.

Why would you want to vacation in the Fort Morgan Area? This is a great area if you want to be away from the crowds and simply relax quietly on a very secluded and uncrowded beach. The beach here are also pet friendly if you would like to bring Fido along for a vacation too. In Fort Morgan you get the best of both worlds, private uncrowded beaches and the tourist nightlife of Gulf Shores just an easy 15 minute drive away.

Why would you not want to vacation in Fort Morgan? If you want to be in the heart of everything in town the 15 minute drive could be cumbersome for you.
