Reston, VAPerfect Location!

This charming, second story, two bedroom apartment is just steps from the beach (across the street) and a block from Beach Boulevard, the main Gulfport village steet lined with great restaurants and shops. We walked to everything, including several festivals held while we were in town. (Stop in at the quiet, little neighborhood bar across the street which has good food and good company.)
The well-equipped efficiency kitchen in our vacation digs enabled us to keep our stay within budget. Many of the basics, like salt and pepper, cleaning suppies, etc. are provided. There's a laundry room at the foot of the stairs. Very convenient.
During our stay, we rarely used the air conditioning. With windows open on both sides of the unit, a tropical breeze kept us comfortable.
Internet, satelite TV, a good selection of books, a DVD player, and even a few board games were provided.
Karen and Chuck, proprieters, were available to answer questions about the area and made our stay very pleasant.
We had a great time and absolutely loved the area. -

Great place to stay with beach right across the street and beautiful views of sunset. . Condo was very clean. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Owners were on site and available to answer any questions and direct us to local resturants all within walking distance. Super nice people to deal with. Can't wait to go back..

Norton, MassachusettsThis beach cottage/apartment was the getaway we were looking for
Left on 02/19/2013 for a stay in February 2013
The proprietors, Chuck and Karen ,handled all of the rental arrangements in a professional but warm and welcoming manner. Since they live in the downstairs apartment they were on hand to take care of any needs that arose.
Although our rental was on the second floor we felt like we had stepped from the sand into a beachfront cottage. It was nicely decorated with an island feel and contained all the amentities needed to settle in for a carefree and comfortable stay. And at night it was fun to watch beach volleyball games from the front windows.
"Location, location, location" as they say. We had a rental car but barely used it. The rental was steps from a wide assortment of non-chain restaurants. Almost all had additional sidewalk or porch seating. Art galleries and shops lined the beachfront boulevard. The beach was so close to our place that I was able to snap a picture of my husband in the water from the living room window.
My husband and I were looking for a vacation that would meet our separate needs: golf, beach and rum drinks for him, quirky restaurants, art and people watching for me. We had it all in this quaint Old Florida town. -

The home was plenty roomy for our family of four. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen which was very organized with all the necessecities and then some. The views were fabulous, waking in the morning watching the sunrise over the water. We could see the beach from the living room and the back porch. The pool area was nice to layout in the sun and watch the sea gulls come down for a drink. Having a laundry room and all the supplies necessary to get clothes done was awesome. Charles and Karen were friendly hosts and eager to help us out in many ways. Communication was very prompt and polite. The art district and restuarants were just a couple of blocks away. We visited the historic Casino for dancing, which is down the street.
