Villa Bahce (Turkish for "Garden Villa") is a private luxury villa located in a small exclusive development on the hills near the village of Gundogan on the Bodrum Peninsula overlooking the intersection of the Aegean & Mediterranean Seas. Area Information:
In Ortakent (half-way between Gundogan and Bodrum) there is a large water park. It is opposite the KIPA hypermarket which is part of the Tesco chain and sells many well known Tesco products as well as local and international brands. Gumbet and Bodrum are only 20-30 minutes away for those want the busy night life and bustling resorts.
Also look out for the markets, typically the Turgutreis one on Saturdays. Yalikavak is usually on Thurdays and Gündogan on Wednesdays. There are no fixed prices so don't forget to haggle.
Hiring a car is the easiest way to get around, but you can manage without one. If you're staying for a few weeks you may like to save some money and shed the car for some of the time and use the local dolmas, or mini-bus service, which operates cheaply and efficiently throughout the peninsula. Yellow taxis are good for short journeys but can add up a bit on longer ones. Many people hitch around the area and it is not uncommon for lifts to be offered by drivers who are going the same way as you.
Whatever you are looking for to make you holiday complete, Gundogan and the Bodrum Peninsula offers it all!

2. Initial cleaning and departure cleaning fees are included. No extra charge to you
3. If you are renting for more than 1 week, we will provide free weekly cleaning and laundry change (sheets, towels etc). This is included in our rates. No extra charge to you.
4. All Turkish and USA taxes are included. No extra charge to you.
5. Regular check-in time is after 16:00 (4:00pm) and check-out time is before 10:00am. We will accommodate your flight schedule to the best we can based on availability and market conditions. Please contact us for details.
6. Our villas are generally rented on a weekly basis, from Saturday to Saturday. Other days can be considered in low season and changing market conditions. Please contact us for details.
7. Should you choose to bring a pet (dog, cat etc), a non-refundable charge of 100 Euros will be added to cover costs for additional cleaning.
8. A fully refundable breakage / security deposit of 150 Euros is required with the last payment. This will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks after your departure date.
9. We require a Terms and Conditions and Rental agreement, and a copy of your driver license or passport as this is a requirement of our community to comply with the Turkish Local Laws.
10. No additional charges for air conditioning use, gas use for BBQ, etc. You are all covered with our services.
11. We know that you will be very pleased with your stay and we hope that you will come back again. We also offer 10% off for all return customers and their recommended friends and family. This is our way of thank you for being a valued guest.

We have just returned from a truly fantastic holiday and we are so impressed with Turkey. (Our first visit)
The villa was superb and all we could have hoped for. It was very peaceful and we could not take our eyes off the view. Stunning. Our 8 yr old was completely taken with floating in the horizon pool, as if going out to sea! One of my highlights was watching a huge electric storm over the bay one night which lit up the whole coast and was quite exciting.
Weather was cloudy but very warm. We did have two days of wall to wall sunshine which was very therapeutic.
Several interesting trips including Ephesus, which has to be seen.
The Turkish people were so friendly, especially with our daughter and an impromptu get together of locals at Villa Rustica restaurant in Gundogen on the last night which included a very good accordion player and lots of singing, rounded the week off superbly.
We will definitely be back.

Levent, Villa Bache owner, was really welcoming and the whole booking process was simple and straightforward. Any questions were promptly answered and the welcome pack was full of top tips and detailed, relevant, information. Levent can also arrange airport transfers or car hire if required.
The villa itself is exactly how it is portrayed on the website. Everything you needed was there and was comfortable. The view was spectacular; even more so armed with a coffee in the morning and a cold white wine in the evening. Having the complex pool (and pool bar) right next to the villa was a bonus (although it was never busy) and very handy for our two daughters. The village of Gundogan has all what you need: supermarkets, butcher's, fishmongers, craft shops etc..

Our friends and my family rented two villas in august from Mr Levent Ileri. These are lovely two villas located in the same community (Villa Maija and Villa Bahce). They are both decorated at highest standards and luxury. we enjoyed the villas very much. They are located about 100 meters from each other and in between is the community pool. We enjoyed meeting at the pool ramada for beer and food, and met the Turkish and English neighbors in the community. Everyone is lovely and very friendly. We thank Mr Ileri for making our travel arrangements so smooth and easy. Turkey is very developed compared to many European countries we visited. We will definitely come back to these villas again next year for a longer period. Thanks again for everything.

We have just returned from a 2 wk holiday in Villa Bache. We all really enjoyed our time in a beautifully kept villa with the most jaw dro ppingly beautiful view. The photos do not do it justice. The pool is lovely and being situated next the villa is ideal. It is quite a small pool with ltd sun beds but never gets too busy and the atmosphere is friendly. There is a pool bar run by a kind, helpful man called Sadat and on some evenings a special get together was organised with all the complex residents getting together chatting and dancing the night away. The al fresco dining area on the courtyard was where we whiled many hours away and it had such an amazing view that we cooked every night rather than going into town. We didnt hire a car but managed to get to and from local places easily enough in local taxis or the local bus very economically. Gundogan village has a fruit and veg market weekly that is amazing and the produce sold by the local farmers is of a standard that beats any supermarket in England for taste. Levent the owner is wonderful. Nothing was ever too much trouble - we emailed him with many questions and requests prior to our trip and he responded with solutions each time promptly. He even called us during our stay to check everything was ok - he really was incredible going way beyond his role as an owner and I know we valued him very much and he added to our enjoyment and high opinion of our stay. The only down side for me was that the beach was quite a walk away and the road very steep so we didnt really venture down there as it was too hot to walk that distance uphill to get home but perhaps that says more about me!!! We went on a couple of day boat trips from Gundogan village - a must in my opinion - approx £20 for the whole day and you are provided with lunch and multiple stop offs in picturesque bays to jump off the boat and go swimming and snorkelling. We will all return for sure - great holiday. Thank you Levent.

This is one of the nicest places I have ever stay in and not only that the preparation and information given to us by the owner was nothing short of fantastic, nothing was left out and it was a credit to the management of the owner.
The pictures on line do not do the Villa justice so if you think the pics are lovely then you are in for a wonderful surprise.
Everything is provided in the Villa and the swimming pool is just next to it. The folks in this particular complex were very nice and friendly, as are the Turkish people in general, however there are a number of English residents at the complex so language is not a problem.
There is now wireless internet at the pool so what could be better that that view when you are checking your emails.
The owner speaks perfect English and therefore communications with him will be no trouble which certainly makes for ease of booking etc.
I can not recommend this facility too highly and hope to get back there one day myself - the best scenario would be to be able to own one of these lovely Villas myself.Response from LEVENT ILERI - 06/23/2010

We booked Villa Bahce for 7 days but it was soon apparent after moving in that our stay was too short. We quickly extended our stay for another 5 days and found the Villa a mavellous spot to use as base for this beautiful area.
We originally chose Villa Bahce from its website and this is certainly a case where the website does not exaggerate the features and gorgeous views from this lovely and beautifully appointed villa, where we'd be more than happy to return in a flash. -

Levent, I am back safe and sound after such a wonderful summer. Your house was spectacular and
a great place for a family reunion. I so enjoyed discovering the Bodrum peninsula and Istanbul too. I plan to write an article for our local newspaper about traveling to Turkey. Most americans know so little about it and are afraid to travel independently there. What a shame. The Turkish people were so friendly and hospitable to me. I didn't have any experience that was negative in five weeks. And, I felt completely safe as a woman alone one week of the time. I will definitely return to Turkey in the future. As for the house and the Heredot development-beautiful. I felt the price was fair, and your help was superb throughout from booking to leaving. I enjoyed meeting your neighbors, who welcomed us as part of the community. There weren't too many people in their houses, but we found the quietness to be an asset! We really enjoy brewed coffee in the morning and Robin brought Star Bucks for the summer! We enjoyed grilling out. I am glad Kathy reported we treated your house as our own. We tried very hard because you have furnished it beautifully. I have come home with all kind of thoughts for my Florida home in creating an outdoor terrace with the canvas interweaving-perfect for coolness. So, again-thank you! I was always remember this summer, and certainly will recommend your house to others!!!
