A 3 bedroom, 2 bath standalone home, the Mermaid House is located on a side road in a quiet and well-maintained neighborhood. From within, banks of sliding windows open in multiple combinations to take advantage of the tropical breezes and sounds of the Pacific. The house includes all the necessary amenities, including ceiling fans in each room, a well-equip...ped kitchen with gas range, HD television, stereo, linens and towels. A large lanai provides guests with opportunities for outdoor dining or sunbathing.

A key feature of the location its proximity to the the pristine golden sand beach across the road - a two minute walk from the Mermaid House's front door. The beach is reef-protected and great for swimming, snorkeling or just catching the rays. On Kauai's North Shore in a quiet, well-maintained neighborhood. The Mermaid House is across the road from one of the most beautiful and secluded reef-protected beaches in the world. Approximately 0.5 miles down the road is Tunnels Beach - famous for snorkeling and great for kids. At the end of the main road (about 2 miles) is Ke'e Beach - the furthest point accessible via autombile on the North Shore; the beach usually has an on-duty lifeguard and is also great for kids and snorkeling. The entrance to the Kalalau Trail is also at Ke'e Beach - and hiking at least the first two (somewhat difficult) miles of the trail will reward you with views and memories that last a lifetime. Retrace your way across seven one-lane bridges back to quaint Hanalei town where you can grab a gourmet meal, savor a shave ice, kayak up the Hanalei River, or shop for dinner at the local Farmer's market.

Rates vary depending upon the season and number of guests. The basic rate is $150/night, $1050/week. Don't be hesitant to inquire if there are any specials being offered for the time you are interested in. "High Season" rates are valid for parties of 6 guests or less.
