Wonderful 5BR house ideally located for park access - FH1628

The community of Southern Dunes Golf and Country Club was first established in 1993, it is located approximately 8 miles south of I4 exit 55 on State Route 27. It is a community of approximately 700 homes located around the multi award winning Southern Dunes Golf Course and is approximately 20 minutes drive from Walt Disney World. As you enter the community there is a lake to the right and trees lining the roads and edging the golf course, all of which give the area a ‘country’ feelWithin the community there are 3 swimming pools, there are two tennis courts and small children’s play area with swings and slides. Just outside the main gat...e to the community are two large supermarkets, Winn-Dixie and Wal-Mart which will have everything you need (Food, Pharmacy, Clothes etc). Wal-Mart is open 24 hours and has a petrol (gas) station.

This comfortably furnished 5 bedroom home features a master king bedroom with ensuite bathroom down stairs and a twin bedroom down stairs. The upstairs bedrooms consist of 1 king bedroom, 1 queen bedroom and one twin bedroom with an additional family bathroom. The home is of a good size and offers a comfortable living room situated around the main TV as well as a sunny dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped and offers all of the essentials such as a dishwasher, large fridge/freezer and a full size cooker with microwave.

Outside your home you will find your pool situated on a sunny deck overlooking the golf course, making this home very peaceful and ideal nature lovers spot. The deck is furnished with table and chairs as well as sun loungers for you sun worshipers..   From arrival at the airport all was easy, the staff were helpful and clear with our instructions and options.From the airport to the villa is about 65miles but it gave you agood chance to get used to driving in the states which as it turns out was very easy. The villa was nice and roomy but not luxurious, the outside could have done with alick of paint around the back but to be honest this could be nit-picking.Inside was comfortable, spacious and well equiped, the pool area is not as large as some, a group of 10 would struggle, but adequate. There is aWalmart on the edge of the complex open 24hrs which we used every day and near-bye a few resturants. On a whole the area is quiet and about 30 mins from Disney and the other attractions, we found this distance nice but some may prefer to be closer in with more to do around you, say International Drive area. we didn't we liked the quiet non-busy area, espeacialy after afull day in the parks. Southern Dunes itself is very nice, peaceful clean, just what you want. During the night though there is a rail road track near the edge of the complex and the trains do like to sound those horns at3am. Only a couple of our party heard them they weren't a big problem. I would recommend this to any one who doesn't want or need to go out for meals every night and who likes a bit of peace after the parks.
