Whistler, CanadaGreat condo on Oahu North Shore
Left on 04/02/2013 for a stay in January 2013
We had a lovely stay for 7 nights this January. Well maintained, clean, nice amenities and a good location. This was our second trip to the North Shore and a perfect place for our family of 3. We appreciated the sand toys for our son and snorkeling gear. Rental process was easy and professional too.

Adorable condo, better than our expectations. We had a
wonderful 11 day stay. The owner has tastefully decorated, and updated this condo for a comfortable, cozy, relaxing stay. This is a "gem" of a place with the
most amazing ocean front view from the lanai, and mere
steps to the beach. We saw large ocean waves, turtles on
the beach, and rainbows almost daily. Condo is close to
everything on the north shore. Walking distance to
Historic Haleiwa Town, unique shops, and great restaurants. We walked to Haleiwa for dinner and browsing the shops daily. Management of the complex does
a great job of keeping the grounds clean, well maintained, beautifully landscaped, and a quiet, enjoyable
location. Absolutely recommend and hope to stay here again. -

Turlock, CAThe most relaxing vacation ever..
Left on 08/07/2012 for a stay in July 2012
What a great place! It was everything you pictured a Hawaiian vacation would be. We loved the small little town, restaurants, and kayaking with the sea turtles, but nothing beats the view from the amazing condo! The condo was clean, comfortable and in the best location for morning walks on the beach. The best part was sitting on the balcony at night and listening to the sound of the waves.

The condo looks just like the pictures. It really is very nice. The bathrooms are especially nice. The view is stunning and was one of our favorite things during our stay. The kitchen has everything we needed to make some meals there. Jill was very nice and incredibly prompt when communicating. The condo is in a wonderful, little town, with lots of food trucks to choose from. I would definitely recommend this rental to my friends and family. The on-site management was a bit rude to us more than once, but that has nothing to do with this condo or the owner. Would love to stay here again!

Laguna Beach, CaliforniaWow!..North Shore at it's Best
Left on 07/19/2011 for a stay in July 2011
This was the third time my Husband and were guests at Haleiwa Surf...The first time he proposed! (something about sitting together on the lanai over looking the beach : ) That was 5 years ago, now on our resent visit we were so pleased to see the kitchen had been completely remodeled, adding some extra luxury to our beach hideaway.
We highly recommend this unit to anyone who wants a very clean, well appointed home away from home on the North Shore of Oahu. The location is fantastic, you can spend your days lounging on the beach, run up to the condo (each have your own bathroom to shower and get ready for your days journey). All the major activities on the North Shore are right at your doorstep.
The layout of the condo itself really adds to the experience. The kitchen is open to the living room which allows you to prep a meal while looking out over the ocean, feeling the breeze while you create something yummy from the local Farmers Market.
If you ever wanted to have the sound of waves to lull you to sleep, just do what we do and take advantage of the futon in the living room, then wake up to the sparkling pacific ocean!
We can't say enough about this gem of a condo and truly hope others appreciate and enjoy how lovely it is and many more special memories are created there.
Aloha!

Eagle River, AlaskaGreat location to get away from the big city
Left on 03/31/2011 for a stay in February 2011
When planning our vacation, we didn't want to stay in a big city, so we chose the North Shore. The town ended up being about 20 miles or so north of the airport which wasn't far at all. It was nice to find that it was exactly what we were looking for. The facility was quiet with a good mixture of residents and vacationing families. The view and balcony are great. Bring a good book to enjoy. The condo was a little small, but since we didn't spend much time inside, it ended up being just the right size for my wife and I plus two younger children. The small town was easy to walk to and the shaved ice was cheap and tasty. The kitchen is small, but clean, new, and well equipped. We saved a ton of money eating a few of the meals in the condo. I would recommend this place and will likely go back to enjoy it again.

Anchorage, AlaskaA really perfect getaway.
Left on 12/10/2010 for a stay in November 2010
What a wonderful find. Haleiwa Surf is unique because it's right on a beautiful North Shore beach but within walking distance to Haleiwa town. If you are seeking a sleek tourist-resort experience, you probably would prefer Turtle Bay or Honolulu. But if you want a more local, laid-back, Hawaiian experience, this condo cannot be beat.
The condo unit is clean, attractive, and well-stocked, with a beautiful new kitchen and bamboo floors. The most amazing feature, however, is the view overlooking the beach, framed by the gorgeous treetops outside the lanai. The condo beach is ideal--it's uncrowded and protected by a reef--so it is safe for swimming and snorkeling (with the sea turtles), even during the winter. Everyone that we met was friendly and there was a real community and family feel to the evening barbeques and sunset-watching at the condo picnic tables.
We walked over to ali'i beach (the next beach down) for the Reef Hawaiian Pro Surfing competition. It was an unexpected treat to see some of the best surfers in the world within a five-minute walk. We could even watch it from the lanai. Haleiwa has some really good restaurants and food trucks--many within walking distance--and a fantastic massage therapist (recommended by Jill)!
We will be back--again and again.

Irvine, CALovely Ocean View Condo in Haleiwa, Hawaii
Left on 11/30/2010 for a stay in November 2010
My husband, adult daughter and I stayed in this one bedroom, two bathroom ocean front condo with beautiful views from the balcony. This unit is on the third floor with no elevator which was fine for us but it is not accessible for people who cannot handle stairs. We swam and took daily walks on the beach where we were delighted by the huge sea turtles napping on the beach.
The living room, kitchen and bedroom have new bamboo floors. The small kitchen has new granite countertops and appliances. Instead of a traditional oven, there is a microwave/convection oven which worked well for both purposes. The bathrooms have not been remodeled but they were clean and functional. The living room has an attractive futon sofa that can sleep two but the mattress was a little lumpy.
Haleiwa is a charming little town about 30 to 40 minutes by car from Honolulu with a small marina, restaurants, shops and easy access to a grocery store and a drug store. We enjoyed both the condo and the town very much. -

It was our first time to the islands. Everything was fantastic. The sunsets, the ocean, the parks, the location, the people, the lifestyle, the fruit. I could go on and on but you get the picture. Everything including the condo was beautiful. The only thing we did not think of is living without air conditioning was a bit "warm" for us in July.

Thanks for the positive comments! There is an air conditioning unit in the bedroom. The condo in on the ground floor and well shaded. There are also many overhead and standing fans to help circulate air. I've always been cool when visiting, but realize we all have different temperatures we are accustom to. I'm glad the trip was great!

"We stayed in this condo for our honeymoon in late august to early September. I can't really find any words to do it justice. We hired a car and saw plenty of the rest of the island, and we couldn't believe how lucky we had been in finding a place like this. Situated in a lovely town it was so beautiful. A stark contrast to the high-rise buildings and crowded beaches in Waikiki. It was an absolute paradise. We loved sitting on the lanai while the sun was setting each evening or being in the water just outside. It was so lovely to stay in a 'home from home' rather than being in a hotel sitting in 1 room. I have such fond memories of our time in Hawaii. The weather was a lot warmer than we are used to, but we could easily cool down in the sea. This condo is situated in such a great location. We loved going to Scoops of Paradise in the town and sampling their ice cream and mochi. Throughout the honeymoon we both kept saying how lucky we had been in finding this place. I found Jill to be very helpful and prompt in her correspondence - she was a delight to deal with. We don't know anyone who is planning a trip over to Hawaii anytime soon, but if we hear that anyone is we will definitely recommend this condo."

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Jill's Condo! It was wonderful to have coffee in the morning and watch the sunset in the evenings from the lanai overlooking the water. It was also a treat to walk down the beach in the late afternoon and watch the sea turtles come ashore. The little town had many restaurants to choose from but we really enjoyed being able to BBQ on the property grounds. The best part of staying in Haleiwa was leaving the hustle and bustle of Honolulu and returning to the quiet town at the end of each day. We definitely will return to this quaint North Shore town.

From the moment I stepped on the balcony and saw that beautiful ocean, I knew this was the perfect location for our holiday. I have visited all of the Hawaiian islands and the North Shore rates at the top of my list. Being able to snorkel right in front of our place with turtles no less is truly memorable!
