Recently renovated unit July 2011. It is an end unit of a 3 story building walk up with no elevator. The place sits right on the beach with great surfing, swimming, and snorkeling right out the door.The Haleiwa Surf is an ocean front building and I have an an end unit receiving common trade winds year round. Craig is friendly and accommodating. The condo was all we needed, and then some. The turtles were cooperative. So was the weather. Our only regret: we couldn't stay longer.

Tripadvisor information well represented the unit and its amenities. Owner was attentive and helpful, and the unit had condiments and the like for cooking and basic meal prep, even a welcoming bottle of wine and macadamia nut chocolates. Very pleasant to just hang out on the grounds of the unit, and the beach/water area was calm and safe for swimming and snorkeling. Good location for getting to local beaches and into town. We would definitely return.

We had an excellent week+ enjoying the beachfront view, the snorkeling/swimming right out front, and all of the North Shore. We were lucky enough to catch three days of the Reef Hawaiian Pro, part of the Triple Crown of Surfing. It was taking place a short 1/4 mile walk from the condo.
The condo itself was well stocked with toys, beach chairs and amenities. It's walking distance (for us, anyway) to the Haleiwa shops and restaurants.
I highly recommend it. -

Convenient and quiet location on the beach - enjoy the North Sho

We stayed here for four nights In November 2012 after spending three nights in Waikiki. We were happy to finish our Oahu trip by winding down at Haleiwa Surf. Great location within walking distance to town (hit the Grass Skirt Grill for lunch!), the boat harbour and the beach.
Speaking of the beach...whether your idea of a day on the beach involves reading a book and having a nap or hitting the water for some snorkeling, swimming or surfing all of these activities are easily accessible from Haleiwa Surf. No need to drive as the condo is right on the beach! If you're lucky, you'll be greeted by one of the resident sea turtles who sometimes spend part of their day sunning on the same stretch of beach.
Craig was great! He promptly answered queries and sent us very thorough directions to the condo. Upon our arrival, he was unobtrusive but very helpful offering up tips on local restaurants and activities.
We enjoyed and will miss having our breakfast on the lanai (balcony) while enjoying the views and sounds of the surf. -

I stayed here with my partner after staying at Ko Olina beach villa although very different it is in the most amazing place, it is right opposite the sea it has an amazing view, we swam with Hawaiian turtles just in front of the condo it is very comfortable it has all you need to chill out.
The restaurants in Haleiwa are great you could walk into the town in about 15 minutes but I would recommend a car

We could only stay one night, but were delighted to see the condo fronts a nice sand beach and good swimming area. We sat on the lanai for breakfast the next day, went for a walk down the beach, did some snorkeling and then worked on our suntans sitting in the beach chairs that came with the condo. It was just perfect. We even had a chance to meet the owner and he couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly. Great place.
