North Shore of O'ahu: Stretching for more than 7 miles, the beaches of the North Shore host the world’s premier surfing competitions during the peak, winter months. The months between November and February are the best times to watch big wave surfing. From May to September, the waves subside, creating a more tranquil atmosphere for surfing, swimming and sunbathing. There are many local attractions including Haleiwa town, Waimea Bay, The Polynesian Cultural Center, Glider rides and Dillingham Airfield, Polo and so much more.

We were very pleased with our stay at this home. The kitchen was outstanding and we cooked our meals "at home" the entire visit. Each day began with a long walk along the sand beaches - venturing far enough to witness giant sea turtles at Laniakea Beach. The sound of the waves lulled us to sleep at night. Sitting with a beverage in hand, watching the sunset from the lanai became a daily ritual. Booking this home was very straight-forward and it was a pleasue to deal with Steve. During our stay he was available to answer questions and to provide guidance when we were faced with a tsunami evacuation. We certainly enjoyed our stay in this home on the North Shore.
