Come and enjoy our self-contained vacation cottage, facing Merry Island Lighthouse and across to
Vancouver Island. Watch the eagles soar or the cruise ships pass by on their way to Alaska while sitting on your private deck. Nothing to do but sit back and relax and forget about time and place, or hike down to the beach for a little marine exploration. And check out the many sights and activities the area has to offer.
Life tends to slow down on the Sunshine Coast and whether you come for two days or two weeks, you will feel renewed and are sure to return.

This was our first visit to the sunshine coast but it certainly won't be the last and Mezzaluna will definitely be our destination of choice. The cottage has a beautiful view of the strait of Georgia and we spent a number of mornings and evenings on the deck watching the water and the ships passing by. We were also treated to views of eagles and many other birds soaring above us and deer grazing through the yard below us.
The cottage itself was extremely comfortable and we cannot think of anything we lacked for during our stay. Our hosts were most hospitable yet allowed us our privacy. They had numerous suggestions for things to do and places to see. I cannot say enough about our experience and we look forward to returning for a longer stay in the future. -

We stayed here to see the new year in and had a wonderful time. The cottage has spectacular views and is very comfortable.
It has a wood-burning stove which kept us warm in the evenings and everything was supplied to make us feel welcome.
I can't recommend too highly. -

Very thoughtfully put together, Mezzaluna has everything that you would need for a weekend getaway. We traveled with our 4 year old son and he loved it, the space, the dvds and a view to die for!!

Wonderful cottage! I was looking for a tranquil, comfortable place to rest for a few days; what I got was that and so much more. Beate has made so many thoughtful touches and the cottage is very well maintained. Beach access was a great bonus. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to get away for a few days. My husband, our dog and I were joined by my senior citizan mother, my sister and her dog for a week's stay at Mezzaluna cottage and we all truly enjoyed ourselves. The cottage faces the sea and has a deck with gas grill for family bbqs. The area around Halfmoon Bay is full of great trails (most of which are dog friendly) for exploring the lush Sunshine Coast and Sechelt is a short distance away for stocking up on supplies.
Our host, Beate, had prepared the cottage for our arrival and there is everything there you could need, from corkscrews to salad spinners, Dvds for the rainy days and wood for the wood stove. You really couldn't want for anything. The people around Halfmoon Bay are very friendly and all in all, each of us and both our dogs had a great time. If you are looking for a cottage on the Sunshine Coast, seriously consider Mezzaluna Cottage. -

Mezaluna Cottage was the perfect get away for us, we needed a total break and found it at this little gem. It has all the comforts of home, in a beautiful setting.The owner was friendly and obliging.
We took wonderful walks in the countryside and returned to the cozy comfort of the cottage where we enjoyed the views of the ocean. At sunset we enjoyed a glass of wine and watched the sun sink below the horizon, and agreed that it couldn't get much better.
