ReadingAn excellent stay at the Schoolroom Suite
Left on 04/08/2013 for a stay in April 2013
We stayed at the Schoolroom Suite in Halifax for one evening.
We were made to feel very welcome by the owner who checked us in and he was very helpful throughout.
The room was decorated to a very high standard and we felt very comfortable there.
We would definitely recommend Simple2let and their accommodation.

Left on 01/21/2013 for a stay in October 2012
The apartment is homely with pretty much everything you need for a long stay away from home. Wifi and a good tv help make it even cosier. It was nice to have a good kitchen to be able to have people over for dinner.
Cleaning materials are supplied, though a cleaner to come in and have a sweep around would be appreciated.Response from Simple2let - 03/14/2013

The perfect place for a short break, even if, like us, you have two boisterous kids under ten. Clean, reasonably but perfectly maintained, nicely central and, importantly, a reasonable walk from the Eureka and the train station.
We arrived, late, on a cold and very rainy Friday and the chap who met us couldn't have been nicer. The flat has everything you need, including a fairly good kitchen.
Favorite thing was the freedom to relax and have breakfast when you want without having to dress like you would in a Travelodge (it was only ÂŁ20 per night more expensive - well worth it). Least favorite - having to leave. -

Left on 08/24/2012 for a stay in July 2012
Had a great stay at the Schoolrooms - really good apartment, clean smart and very easy to find. Everything was top notch including the service from Jonathan at Simple2Let - this helped as we were close by at a wedding in Hebden Bridge and with Hebden hotels full this stop at the schoolrooms was perfect.

Great location right next to Hbos and Halifax Town centre. 24-hour grocery shop/petrol station 2 over the road (but far enough away so no noise). Three very minor complaints - (1) the shower cord is shackled so cannot move the shower head far; (2) some of the crockery wasn't fully clean; and (3) only 1 dishwasher tablet provided (possibly an oversight). We would happily return on future visits to Halifax.

RedcarWonderful quiet, modern apartment
Left on 08/14/2012 for a stay in August 2012
Ideal for a young family of 5, set in a quiet part of Halifax with just a 5 minute walk to the centre. Beautiful building, situated on the ground floor so easy access, very clean and modern with everything you need. Free private car parking, with easy access to the motorway. We had one problem the toilet seat was very loose, which we mentioned to the owner, however, this would not put us off from staying here again as the price for one night was very good value.

Excellent all round - take your breakfast and some shampoo with you, everything else is there. I walked into town and ate at La Luna, which was also excellent.

Very very clean well kept apartment, spacious bathroom and living room.
The only negative I have is that the bed is quite small but other than that it was perfect including the price! -

Even though my daughter and I only stayed one night, our time here was splendid. We had a quiet and relaxing time in a truly beautiful apartment. All we needed was provided, even milk was provided. I would highly recommend a stay here, and I will definitely book here again.

Similar price to staying in a Hotel and you get so much more. The apartment is well appointed with wifi, HD TV, DVD, kitchen, sperate beadroom and bathroom. In the centre of Halifax convenient for restaurants, theatres and the Shay football stadium. The appartment is in a beautiful listed building and is furnished to a very high standard.

LeedsBeats any B&B; in the area for a longer stay
Left on 09/01/2011 for a stay in August 2011
I found the apartment by chance on the internet, as I needed somewhere to stay for myself and my parents for 3 nights as I was being admitted to a nearby hospital for major surgery.
The apartment is in an ideal location, that is peaceful and has plenty of parking, it is also a short walk into the town. Jonathan the owner met us at the apartment and was accomodating on check in or check out times, and kept constant communication through out our stay to make sure everything was ok.
The apartment itself is a new development and is immaculate inside. Even so it proved homely for my parents who used it as their base between having to come to the hospital. The bathroom is huge and has a lovely bath and powerful shower.
There are nice touches such as a box full of Dvd's, freeview tv and a comfy bed with plenty of storage space. There are also plenty of towels and bedding.
Just a few things that the apartment could do with are a microwave, collander and a new corkscrew, these are just suggestions.
Compared to B&B; prices in the area the price of the apartment was very reasonable as we did not have to be out by 10am.
I would recomend this apartment to anyone on business, holidaying or having to attend the Spire hospital.
