LondonWonderful for exploring North Yorkshire
Left on 07/19/2012 for a stay in June 2012
We booked both cottages for a family trip to North Yorkshire. My husband and I with our 7 month old baby stayed in Cherry Tree which has beautiful views from the bedrooms and living room, lovely bathroom, comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. There is even a basement with washing machine and dryer. Then my Mum and aunty stayed in the Heatherbank cottage which has only one bedroom with twin beds but a better living room/kitchen for entertaining so this is where we did all our cooking and eating together as a family. It was a fantastic location for exploring the area. Our favourite places were York and Hebden Bridge. Thanks to Stan and Elaine for being so welcoming, lovely cottages.

We rented Heather Bank Cottage while in Yorkshire visiting family. The location was convenient for our commuting needs. Elaine and Stan were very welcoming and they even ordered our milk for us from the local dairy. One nice aspect of the cottage is that the cost was all inclusive - no extra costs for parking, heating, laundry, etc. Parking was a bit tight for a mid-sized vehicle but with some extra space made available everything was fine. The cottage location is on a busy road (50 MPH speed limit) and egress from the driveway requires some caution. Spring Rock Pub is just down the road, an excellent option if you want a break from cooking and a quick pint.

Cherry Tree and Heather Bank Cottages in Yorkshire
Owner
Heather Bank Cottage is a quiet cottage overlooking the garden. and is some distance away from the road, being located up our driveway. The road is a normal rural road, with light traffic, and is not normally busy.
We advise our visitors to take care when leaving, especially those visitors from overseas, who may not be familiar with driving in the UK. -

Left on 04/21/2011 for a stay in March 2011
My wife and I enjoyed a very comfortable stay at Cherry Tree cottage. Stan and Elaine made us feel very welcome and went out of their way to help us with a variety of matters.
It was very nice to have both a gas fireplace and also central heating.
We also very much appreciated having fast wifi.
We would happily recommend Cherry Tree cottage.
