This is the perfect accommodation for those who wish to mark a special occasion. Everything you could need is catered for here, from the lovely toiletries in the bathroom to the continental breakfast provisions.
Waking to the call of kookaburras is a perfect start to the day. We saw lots of other wildlife while on our walks into the town and around the neighbouring area.
We stayed 3 nights during some very wintery weather. Between our walks it was so relaxing being able to sit in front of the cosy wood fire, the spa was a hit too! Unfortunately, due to the weather, we were unable to sit on the balcony but we loved to go out onto it to take in the delicious smell of the bush.
Our host was extremely helpful and was eager to make sure our stay was very enjoyable...it was and we will be back. -

I took my partner to Heavenly Retreat for his birthday and it was the perfect gift. An easy drive to some wonderful walks meant we were able to adventure out and explore the beautiful Grampians by foot during the day, and then treat ourselves to a spa, warm fire and delicious home cooked meal in the evening. I particularly loved waking up in the tree tops with the birds singing around us, it felt like we were in our own little paradise.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights at Heavenly Retreat this week. We had a great stay and we would like to return in the future to spend more time in this luxurious small home with its huge spa bath.
We had kangaroos outside the door as well as beautiful parros and kookaburras and at night besides the reverse cycle air conditioning there is a pot belly stove which makes the house very cosy.
A breakfast basket was supplied together with a voucher to buy fresh bread and milk at the local shops. We were also given a bottle of sparkling wine and a large block of chocolate which was a lovely touch.
I would highly recommend this small home to anyone wanting a break from their busy world. -

This house is amazing. We had a wonderful stay. Everything was provided to make our holidays in the Grampians a big success.
We especially loved the jacuzzi, the fire place, the comfort and view from the windows! Located in the middle of a forest, with kangaroos hopping and parrots flying, we felt we were on top of the world!
If we decide to come back to Halls Gap in the future, we will definitely choose for the Heavenly Retreat again! Thank you. -

I was completely under the pump at work and was looking to just get the heck away from the place to find somewhere to unwind.
I came across Heavenly Retreat on the net and gee I found what I was looking for!
Normally we go to random places for holidays and mostly when we open the front door we are met with some level of disappointment as to "expectation vs actual".
Not so here!
This is a very modern, well laid out retreat with all facilities you want or need, great shower, everything you need in a kitchen, excellent lounge area leading onto the main bedroom area which has a very nice spa looking out onto the deck/balcony area.
Out on the balcony you cant miss the many kangaroos which clearly love the location also, and its a nice spot to just sit and look out on the magnificent mountains on the north side of Halls Gap.
Tv is not a fancy LCD on the wall but does have digital box so you can watch whatever you like, but really you arent here to watch TV. Put on the radio and thats all you need.
Not much else to say except enjoy! You wont be disappointed here, you just wont want to go home! -

Beautifully presented modern property. Well appointed and positioned. Private, but close to town. All facilities you could hope for.
Excellent service & good communication from hosts (despite stuffing them around a bit).
Highly recommend for a couple looking for a private getaway.
