Description from the owner
The historical family estate dates back to 1896 where 100 years later Barb married the boy next door, Ray, who built his wife’s dream house on their 20 acre manor. Both the estate and house are brimming with history and mystery. The mansion is settled atop a grassy meadow near two ponds where, from the highest point in the yard, guests can watch the Missouri sun set over the trees. Enjoy the morning air on the outdoor tea patio and dining area, take a walk around the countryside, or even feed the fish at your leisure.

The Victorian Country Inn is beyond amazing. The pictures do not do this place justice. The home and grounds are simply gorgeous. Everything in every room is class a, the best it could possibly be. Just staying here was an experience in and of itself. If you've ever wanted the perfect weekend getaway - go to Columbia, stay at the VCI, and eat at addisons and Flat Branch - you'll thank me.

The B&B; was our first. It was a wonderful place to retreat to in the evening after spending a busy day with our daughter visiting the campus and shopping. A great breakfast was awaiting us in the morning to help kick off our day. We highly recommend the Victorian Country Inn and will be staying in more B&Bs.;
