Positioned on the resort side of Hamilton Island means that Frangipani204 is within easy walking distance to the beach, several swimming pools, shops & restuarants. We were met at the airport and taken to the apartment where we were blown away by how big the place was! There were only 4 of us and with a whole extra "section" to the apartment that went unused we wished we had bought along more friends! The location is great as it is away from the crowds and there is a small pool at the end of the building that we used yet did not see another person there. The golf buggies make it easy to get everywhere and are needed after a big feed down at the marina! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the apartement to everybody!

This represents a reasonable 3 bedroom apartment for a reasonable price. The apartment is getting a bit tired in the bathrooms, laundry and kitchen but the location is great. The apartment is in a large, 3 level block of approx 30 units. Many stairs to climb- no lift. Our family had a fun time on the ever popular Hamilton Island.

We stayed for 10 nights in april and liked this second floor apartment. There was no noise from any guests above us, being on the top floor and very little from apartments around us or down below, and so we appreciated the relative peace and quiet. It is comfortable and well presented with a great view over Catseye Beach on the other end of the beach from the resort. It was airconditioned, as well as having ceilng fans, was equipped with everything you need if you want to self cater, including a very good BBQ, and came with a very useful buggy and valet service to and from the airport. The owners were friendly and helpful.
Considering the price of staying in a resort owned property, this private accommodation is good value particularly with a buggy thrown in. You get the benefit of being able to use all the resort facilities too, and most of the swimming pools on the island. The apartment has a lovely pool of its own too .
My only small complaint was that the pillows were rather soft and squishy and probably need replacing.
We love Hamilton Island and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lots to do, beautiful facilities, we had mostly great weather, and it's very relaxing. -

The apartment is fantastic, very specious and tastefully decorated. The views are fantastic and the BBQ on the balcony and outdoor dining is a great feature. Having the kitchen facilities is convenient for breakfasts and lunches.
Buggies are quite expensive to hire on the Island, so its great value for money to have this included with the apartment. And of course a convenient and fun way to get around the island.
David and Carol are friendly hosts who offer a wealth of information on arrival.
We will definitely be returning...

I have stayed in many apartments on Hamilton Island, this one is the best, the 3 bedrooms really make a difference and they all have their own bathrooms. It really is just a lovely apartment, so much so that nobody wanted to leave. (even after 2 weeks)!!

We stayed in the Frangipani 204 apartment in Feb 2011. We were greeted at the airport and taken back to the apartment. Our stay was good, very short buggy ride to the main street and pools. Everything in the apartment was in good condition, except one television. Then were picked up on our last day and returned to the airport.

We had a wonderful time!! The accommodation was excellent with nothing missing. We were met at the airport as planned & taken to our accommodation with all the workings explained. The location was perfect as we were able to use the pool below our unit.
The best thing about our stay was the partying!! Thanks DG!!!
The least was leaving!! We wanted to stay longer!!! -

We are a family of 2 adults & 2 children (ages 9,13) & we were lucky enough to spend a week at Frangipani Lodge 204 in April '10.
It was such a wonderful experience right from the start of the holiday to the very end. We were greeted at Hamilton Island airport by Andrew who made us feel very welcome & were presented with our buggy for the duration of our stay. After getting our luggage Andrew drove to the apartment (we followed behind in the buggy - the kids, first time on a buggy, thought this was so cool!)showed us around, answered all our questions then wished us a great holiday & was gone - our holiday had begun!
The apartment is in such a great location. Such a beautiful view & so close the the resort area of the island. The apartment has everything you need - we loved the water cooler...great idea! Bathrooms & bedrooms have plenty of room & the whole apartment was very clean. The balcony also is quite big with a bbq & outdoor seating. The kitchen has everything you need if you choose to cook.
Also, wireless internet is available which we opted for & we had no problems at all with it during our stay.
The pool for the apartments has a great area as well, with bbq facilities & fridge & the pool was so quite & relaxing.
The end of our stay the service was just as good as the start, we were picked up from the apartment & dropped off at the airport - it was so easy.
This is a great apartment, in a great location, at very reasonable rates & it comes with excellent service.
We will be back!

The service we received was exceptionally good whatever you needed was taken care of immediately. The apartment was beautifully appointed. Everything you needed was at hand. To wake up in the morning with that wonderful view was heaven.
What we liked about the location of the Frangipani Lodge 204 was that it was at the quieter end yet still close to all the amenities. Though we had the use of a buggy we walked everywhere instead. The beach, the pools, the restaurants and the shopping. -

We have spent many idyllic vacations in Frangipany Lodge 204, and other homes managed by Carol and David Gardner on Hamilton Island. Their attention to detail is evident in the friendly way they greet us at the airport, settle us in, provide a buggy to allow us to travel all over the island, and ensure the accomodation is presented to the highest standard. The apartments are always beautifully furnished with interesting paintings and sculptures throughout, and good quality linen and crockery available. The views are always superb vistas across the water to nearby islands in the group. At no stage are we more than a few minutes buggy drive from shops, restaurants and all amenities. This year we visited the new Golf Course and restaurant on Dent Island, and soaked up the atmosphere created in the newly completed Yacht Club House. Carol and David always update us on any new developments on the Island and ensure we have an opportunity to visit these amenities during our stay. I think we especially like the relaxed atmosphere and unhassled lifestyle which flows from the accomodation they present, and the effort they put into ensuring we continue to enjoy our holidays on Hamilton Island.

From the meeting at the airport on arrival to the ride back to the airport for our departure, everything was fantastic, even the weather.
The apartment was amazing, well kept, modern with great inclusions and wonderfull view. The airconditioning was fantastic and it gave us somewhere to escape the heat if required. The golf carts, the staff and the island itself were all fantastic. We will definately stay here agin. -
