Frangipani 206 was amazing. The apartment has a wonderful view. The apartment is very big, very clean. Plenty of space, bed clothes, beach towels, hair dryer and kitchen ware. Bbq was clean and worked perfectly.
The doors slid doors didnt lock and sometimes felt unsettling. But there was nobody to tell only send a text to a number that was left for contact. no lift
Other then that no problems.

Overall the apartment was excellent. Very spacious & well fitted out. The only problem I found was the oven didn't work & the dishwasher didn't clean the dishes.
I reported the oven but had no response from the maintanence people.
Hamilton island was beautiful the facilities & activities were first class
& we had a perfect holiday. All the staff were very friendly & accommodating we look foward to our next visit. We will stay in frangipani appartment 206 again without hesitation as we loved the location.

Apartment was very clean and tidy but very tired looking and needs freshening up perhaps a coat of paint. Dishwasher did not work but that was okay but more tea towles could have been supplied. As we were on the third floor had great exercise climbing stairs but would not recommend it to anyone who was elderly or had any health problems. We also did not have any contact details of the owner or manager in case of emergency which was a little concerning. However we loved the use of the golf cart and the pool - our party of a family group of 20 made good use of that. (we booked a total of 5 units in the Frangipani Lodge). Also loved the possums, bats, rosellas (careful as they did land on my breakfast bowl and ate my cereal with me even though you aren't supposed to feed them!) Medical staff were also brilliant as my 82 year old mother fell over and badly twisted her ankle.

Had a great time on the island. The rooms were very large and comfortable. I hear you can order food form Coles on the mainland, and still be cheaper than buying there. But the apartment was great. Would stay there again...

Very good clean well equiped family accomodation.Staff pick up and check-in,check-out excellent buggy was great big enough for 2 adults 3 kids views were great a top spot to stay.

Had a wonderful time on Hamilton Island, even though it rained for the first 2 days it didn't spoil our holiday. The apartment was perfect for our needs, great view & the use of the buggy was so convenient - we zipped here, there & everywhere. Never a dull moment. Would certainly return to the Island as well as the apartment. Thanks for a great holiday!

Accomodation was fine but the services on the Island were poor. I would like to recommend you suggest to future travellers to pre purchase food & supplies from the mainland as the only grocery store was inadeqautely stocked and unreasonably priced.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. It was a great holiday in a great location. Frangipani 206 was ideal for our requirements in both location and apartment style accommodation.
However we were disappointed with the lack of attention to a number of little things in the apartment which were annoying more than anything. A few dollars and little time would fix these things and give the apartment its "luxury" tab rather than my assessment of "average" and a little tired.
Below are examples what I am talking about:
1. Kitchen - crockery, cutlery, pots were dirty and had to be cleaned before use.
2. Lounge - Sliding door to deck did not lock (ie lock broken). The right hand screen door is jammed. The runners at the top are broken. Sitting on the sofas we had ants crawling all over us for a couple of days. One of the lights in the dining area fell out of its socket.
3. Back bedroom - the curtains in this room are a disaster, held up by bits of string and could not be drawn, for want of a few track hooks. The bedside light did not work.
4. Main bedroom - The double flush on the toilet does not work. The shower head against the outer wall was not useable as it would not stay up.
None of these things stopped us enjoying our holiday but they did indicate a slack approach to maintenance for reasonably high priced "luxury" accommodation.
We have stayed in apartments in other Queensland locations and Frangipani would have to be the most poorly maintained we have struck yet and the most expensive.
A bit of TLC is required. -

The position was excellent far enough away from the main hub of things but close enough to get to where we wanted to go. Love the golf cart it was all we needed to get around. The apartment was perfect and well positioned to the pool and beach. Even though we arrived after the cyclone went through we were not put out at all. The staff were very friendly and I would love to come back again.

We had a great time on Hamilton Island. After spending 5 months in Brisbane and nearly 3 months travelling with our children, Hamilton Island was a very positive way to end end our trip before going back to Canada. The kids loved all the different pools to choose from and driving around the island in a golf cart. We went out on a couple of boat trips that were fun - unfortunately the visibility was poor for snorkelling. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and spacious with a reasonably well equipt kitchen. Great view, peaceful, and a really nice balcony to relax and eat dinner.

We were unfortunate in that there was massive earth works happening straight out from our balcony that we haddn't been made aware of. The bull dozers also started quite early in the morning.
We also made the mistake of locking ourselves out of the apartment and it took several hours to locate someone who could come and help us get back in.
Overall though we had a fantastic holiday and the whole expirience was very relaxing. We would definatelly consider going back. -

the apartment was as per the pictures and details on the internet. The staff that met us at the airport were friendly and efficient. The unit was spotlessly clean. Everything was done so as when you arrived you were able to relax and enjoy the holiday immediately. A great experience. Will return and use the same apartments.
