Frangipani is a sought after location as the apartment is located on the Beachfront on the resort side of the island, with views over Catseye Bay. This ground floor apartment has a large outdoor area for you to entertain and enjoy the day or evening. It features your own private dining table, BBQ and sun lounges.
The apartment is fully self-contained and fully air-conditioned. The full equipped kitchen and laundry have all of the necessary appliances, including dishwasher. All linen* and bath towels are supplied. You need to bring your own beach towels.
*cot linen is not supplied if you need to use the porta-cot.

Well Hamilton certainly is beautiful and a great place for families like us with a small baby. The apartment was well located in a quiet area of the island and had been well renovated with a great view of the ocean. We were met at the airport by the lovely ashley and given a quick tour and taken to the apartment. The included golf buggy was great and our baby loved it.The spare room for our bub was great in that it was really quiet and quite dark when the blinds were down.
The bad- we had ordered from Coles online with the view that our apartment included a BBQ as per the web booking. It did not- we were told that it had probably been taken by someone else and that another would be sought but it never came. There was one located by the pool but our baby monitor did not extend that far. Another necessity was the washing machine which unfortunately was broken. There were no lights working in the ensuite and one of the lamps in the bedroom was also not working- this meant we could only use this during the day. Maintenance did come quickly but were unable to resolve with new globes as there appeared to be an electrical problem. A couple of minor main issues included a broken window slat in the spare bedroom and some termite damage in the washing machine area. -

wonderful place to stay! We enjoyed being on a quiet end of the island, but having the buggy to get around easily. The building's pool is great because it has shade and keeps it cool during the hot days. The apartment is renovated to a high standard with a great kitchen and living area. We really enjoyed our stay!! The air conditioning in each of the main rooms was much needed & great to have too.

This was a ground floor appartment and a good option for us as we travelled with eldery relatives who would not cope well with stairs. It's the last in the line of accommodation options and right at the edge of Catseye Beach near the bushland. We had lots of wildlife visit our front yard including wallabies, possums, cockies, frogs, lizards and some very unusual looking birds. The pool was great and had easy access for elderly folk who are unsteady on their feet and the spa was a big hit.
The buggy was great added bonus and it really is the best way to get about the island.
On the down-side: Cockroaches from the bushland are also visitors to the apartment - although they are the native type and not the germy ones so it wasn't a terrible problem for us, and the cleaner had forgotten to make up the second bedroom (this was fixed very quickly though). We had a great time in a lovely location. -

We had three small children and the apartment suited us perfectly. We were right by the pool and the ground floor meant they could run outside whenever they liked. Having a golf cart also meant freedom. The apartment had all the fittings we needed and good quality linen. We would definitely stay in this apartment again. We also ordered Coles On Line and our food was waiting in the fridge on our arrival. I was extremely appreciative of this.

We were met at the airport by John who was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Arriving at Frangipani 8 John gave us all the necessary information and left his number for us to contact him anytime. The unit was clean and comfortable and we had everything we needed for a great family holiday. Location was fantastic with a great view and especially good for the children with the unit being on the ground floor and the pool a few yards away.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Hamilton Island stay in Frangipani 8. Even the rainy windy weather couldn't dampen our great holiday. We will definitely be back to stay in Frangipani 8 with it being a ground floor unit it is ideal for children and we still had a beautiful view of the Whitsundays. Towels and sheets were very good quality. Our host was very friendly and helpful. Unit was well set up and furniture and fittings were in good condition.

Travelled with a small child and husband. Very large and spacious accommodation. Most amenities provided for. Fantastic location when staying with children. Good access to pools and other facilities. Easy booking and check-in. Decor is a little outdated, however this is only a minor thing.

Franginpani 8 was an ideal location as it was a ground floor apartment on the corner of an apartment block, which meant we had direct access onto beautifully kept lawns and gardens with a small swimming pool, hot tub and barbecue area just a few steps away - it was like having the perfect garden with a perfect sea view! Hardly anyone used the pool or hot tub so we seemed to have nearly sole use of it! Apartment was excellent, well resourced with beautiful views. All in all it was just a perfect stay!

We stayed here in March 2010, with a 2 year old and three adults. Great layout and plenty of space. Good to be on the ground floor as lots of grass area for our little one to run around. Fantastic ocean views. New bathroom was a bonus too. However, the second bedroom was very mouldy (smell was overwhelming and could be seen on roof). As my mum is asthmatic she could not sleep in this room and we had to move her out into the lounge room (and even if she wasn't asthmatic, the smell was too potent). This was very disappointing as we had specifically booked a 2 bedroom so she could have her privacy during the stay.

The apartment itself was in a great location and excellent in size, but was toocluttered. There was paint cans and maintenance equipment in the wardrobes and just general junk. Old mismatched bits an pieces here there and every-where.The apartment was very dirty, we had to clean it on arrival. There were dirty underpants under one of the beds and chunks of dirt and dust also. Sheets were thread bare and smelt unlaundered. The towels were brand new, but had not been washed, so left lint all over you. I would not stay here again.

I stayed with my 20 Year Old Daughter and Best Girlfriend and her 19 Year Old Daughter. We had the best time - too short! The Unit was absolutely fantastic - spacious, decor very fitting with the name of the complex - spotless, outlook - you could not ask for a better view. The Buggy that comes with the Unit is so cute and it makes the holiday as well. We are planning to go back it is just fitting in when and would not star anywhere else but Unit 8. Being a ground floor unit is great to have the lovely outdoor setting to enjoy. Would highly recommend this Unit for a fabulous stay on Hamilton Island and definitely rate it 5 Star.
