Caboolture Qldfantastic week
Left on 04/20/2012 for a stay in March 2012
From the first pick up from the ferry everything was done to make our week comfortable. tte apartment was immaculately clean and the initial impression with the music playing and the lounge looking warm and inviting could not have been done better.
We would certainly recomend it to anyone with the proviso that the stairs would be a problem for some, but that would be our only negative comment.
The complimentary buggy was welcome and well used
We will certainly be back. -

MelbourneFantastic tropical getaway
Left on 03/13/2012 for a stay in February 2012
After landing in paradise we were greeted with valet service, who took us right to the door of our apartment. The buggy that was included was a great way to get around the island. Our apartment was lovely with every possible comfort of home. The views from the balcony were spectacular and the apartment pool was like you were swimming in a tropical rainforest. Poinciana is central to the marina and shopping district but also central to the main resort facilities too. We loved our trip and can't wait to return

The service we received was fabulous. From picking us up from the airport, dropping us off to the pub one night and taking us back to the airport. The room however was not as clean as I would like. The shower didn't look like it had been cleaned from the last people and the floor on the balcony was slimy. The location was perfect though. In the middle of everywhere you could want to go. We would not return though as we like to try new places.

Left on 10/18/2011 for a stay in September 2011
Everything was basically fine. However some annoying things were:
-working out how some of the electricals worked (e.g. getting Foxtel up on the TV; and how to stop one of the lounge area fans - a how to manual would be good).
- the antennae to the bedroom TV was faulty.
- more coffee & tea could be provided for short stays. Shouldn't need to do too much shopping for a short stay.
For the money charged I would have expected an iPod connectable music dock;( modern touch?)
Maybe a list of what is actually provided in the unit could be sent prior to arrival.
Otherwise it was OK but Hamilton Islands prices for food and alcohol make the place questionable value for money. -

Left on 08/30/2011 for a stay in April 2011
Meet and greet with the buggy was excellent and we felt really looked after. The apartment has great views and is an excellent way to avoid the resort crowds whilst still being able to utilise their facilities.

The Island was all I expected it to be the location of the apartment and the view as shown in the marketing picture was great. The place was surface clean only the kitchen amenities poor the furniture poor(the recliners did not recline for example) it is tired and needs refurbishing and some attention to detail. The worst aspect was the 'exclusive' pool it was in a dismal area, dirty with poor loungers and badly maintained. The best was our golf trip to Dent Island - take a tip from them or visit the club house and see what a good standard really is.

Stayed for 7 nights during January 2011. Fabulous apartment in a superb location. Central to both sides of the Island and the golf buggy made getting around so easy.
The facilities in the apartment are great, BBQ, washing machine, tumble dryer huge fridge etc etc. The only things that are missing would maybe be a couple of beach towels.
The view from the balcony is to die for and it's a great place to sit and have a meal.
Would we return...in a flash without a second's hesitation. -

Gorgeous view, spacious lounge area. Stayed for a week with my partner as a birthday surprise for him arranged by my self. Tried all the activities we could and loved the dining at both the Yacht and Golf Clubs. Safari Tour was lots of fun. Met lots of people. Made friends with a Japanese couple we met on the Island, we have since been to their wedding in Gold Coast and they are invited to ours in NZ October this year. Had a very happy ending at the end of our holiday. My partner proposed to me at the Yacht Club. Perfect ending to a perfect holiday :).

VictoriaDisappointing
Left on 04/03/2011 for a stay in November 2010
Kayla & Andy(?), the staff looking after us, were very helpful and did what they could to make us comfortable. The apartment was lacking in a number of areas. Blown light bulbs in lounge area-only a table lamp for lighting and no running hot water for the first night. No proper lighting in the bedroom the whole stay. No promised champagne or tea, coffee sugar etc in the apt. when we arrived. Sheets on the bed were not ironed & so badly creased I had to do a thorough check to make sure they were even clean. No operating instructions for the tv. Programme magazine for October,ie not current. Fans only working on slow so not adequate.
Hamilton Island itself, we loved but we were thankful we were only there for 3 nights. We loved the buggy and the fact there was a towel in it to wipe the seats etc, given that it rained most of the time we were there.
Not sure if the problems we faced would have been found in all the 'private apts' but feel it is probably the case as they were 'house-keeping' issues really. Not the standard we are used to from apartment style accomodation. -

This particular Unit can do with a new lounge suite, as it is definately showing its age and constant use. We found everything else fine. Must give a high recommendation to the lovely check in and check out service a+ "Hamilton Island Private apartments"

The unit was well positioned on the island. The view from the balcony was delightful. The amenties in the unit were good but needed a few extras things in the kitchen. The buggy was great, overall we were happy with the experience.

Gold CoastDisappointing.
Left on 03/31/2011 for a stay in July 2009
Given that the unit is described as luxury we were disappointed with the interior. It was quite dated and daggy. The views are fantastic and location good, We found the bedroom very noisy. Being at the back it got a lot of noise from people coming and going downstairs and from trucks going up and down the hill. We much prefer the anchorage apartment we have stayed in twice before.

MelbourneThanks For a Great Time
Left on 03/31/2011 for a stay in November 2010
The apartment was close to everything and had everything I needed, I wanted a place with a kitchen as I knew meals out would become an expensive option on the island, the complimentary buggy was fantastic to get around. Having a BBQ on the balcony was amazing with the great views, it was relatively quiet and I would easily stay there again. Thank You

we had expected the rooms to be alot more modern, and they badly need updated. We thought that accomodation on Hamilton Isl would be a1 - but forthe price you pay - it has made us think twice about staying there again.
