Good location, nice view
Left on 04/30/2013 for a stay in April 2013
The apartment was clean, comfortable, excellent location and overall good value for money. However, the quality of bed linen and towels was poor (sheets worn thin and very used looking, non-matching old towels with bleach stains on them and only 1facewasher provided with four people staying). By the 3rd or 4th night of our stay, we were starting to feel a bit 'ick' in the bed with those sheets (and had to wash towels daily). For relatively small cost outlay, the owners should head to one of the many homewares sales and purchase new towels and sheets!

We recieved great service upon arrival. Collected personally from the airport and promtly taken to the apartment.
The apartment was clean, everything was in good, working condition and once we had been shown around the aprtment we were left too our own devices throughout the stay which was perfect.
We were given a contact number for if we had any issues but did not need to use it as we had none. We were collected at the end of our stay and transferred to the airport in good time.
Location of the aprtment was perfect - although there was no information about the private pool/BBQ area and we did not discover this until it was our last evening - when it was too late to make use of it.
Would highly recommend this apartment. 5 stars! -

The postion was good, the size of the unit ws ok and furniture was all adequate.
The letdown was the maintenance of the building and fittings.
For instance the ceiling fans are old noisy and dirty.
The TV in the bedroom didn't work and the mains wire was clumsily bundled to the bottom edge of this wall mounted unit.
There was no glass in one display door and it needed a pest spray as there was ants everywhere. -

I called up to make the reservation, the lady who answered the phone was lovely. Even though I paid for 3 nights but only stayed for 2 nights, I think the price was still good. The apartment was good apart from few maintenance issues ( few lights out, kitchen cupboard door broken, a glass missing from a TV unit cupboard) and the beds,, got everything you need. The view was great too. Like the location and you have your own buggy, everything is within 5 mins drive.
Good- the apartment except the beds, buggy, reservation and the person who picked us up and dropped us to the airport. They were very nice and helpful.
Bad- the beds, lot of ants and grey hairs on the bed, called housekeeping and asked for the bed sheets to be changed, he said he cant do it today because its too late, but he can do it the next day. However nothing happen. My sister got badly bitten by bugs after the first night sleep..not sure by bed bugs or ants... -

During our stay there was an ant problem in the bathroom and one night it was raining heavily and the ceiling in the living room leaked and was dripping all night on the sofa, but we didn't realise until the next morning, luckily it stopped raining and there were no other problems.
The location was good; it was between the marina and beach. We were also provided with a buggy which was awesome!
The location and the buggy defiantly made our stay convenient! -

When we arrived we were very happy with our apartment until we had to switch on the lights. We found there was no down lights working in the main lounge area, very disappointing. This was fixed but we had to come back to let the electrician in. The next day the toilet blocked and this was fixed almost immediately. We also had a problem with the air conditioner and the roof leaked in the bedroom near the balcony. For what we paid per night, very ordinary.

I'd recommend this accomodation for families. The location is convenient to both catseye beach and the marina, and it includes a buggy which it alot easier with younger kids.
The apartment has a large comfortable balcony with an awsome view. It's 2 bedrooms are handy for families, and it's clean and comfortable.
A couple of items could do with replacing. Ie the fridge (leaks), the drying rack (rusty). But overall very nice and spacious.
The inclusion we received to have unlimited access to the Wildlife park was fabulous. -

Newcastle NSWGreat flat, needs a little care and attention
Left on 12/13/2011 for a stay in November 2011
Received a warm welcome on arrival but with a very rushed run through of the buggy and no help with our luggage to the flat even though we asked. The apartment is fantastic, well equipped kitchen, large rooms, incredible views and very roomy. Bad points being that most of the light bulbs didn't work, the tv remote in the main bedroom didn't work and I gave up trying to adjust the volume or changing the channel. It was mentioned in the welcome folder that there would be milk/butter etc in the fridge but there was nothing - I didn't expect anything but to be told you were to get something and then it or be there is a little frustrating. Location was great and the buggy very useful. Overall a great trip and great accommodation but for the money spent, a few bits need touching up.

Left on 12/12/2011 for a stay in October 2011
This 2 bedroom unit was great value for us and our two kids. Having your own kitchen facilities and a free buggy makes this place so much better value than the resort accommodation. It is located right in the middle of the resort so equal distance to the resort pools and restaurants. The unit was clean and tidy, a little tired in places like the lounge and bathroom, but fully functional and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Close to the resort, close to the marina and a killer view across Cats Eye Bay, this apartment is in a perfect location. The apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious. The apartment block pool was clean and a generous size but the pool furniture could do with some sprucing up. The valet service to get you from/to the apartment from the airport was very efficient and the use of the Buggy for the period is a real benefit.

Excellent service. The use of the cart and the airport transfers made the holiday so easy and non fuss. The apartment was nice and clean. Cooking utensils lacked an bit and light globes needed to be replaced but all in all it was a great place to stay. View was amazing! pool was beautiful! wish I was back there now.

The apartment fixtures and fittings were inferior, old and tatty in the kitchen. Elsewhere wasn't so bad but it wasn't as good as it appeared on line.

Left on 04/04/2011 for a stay in January 2011
the island is fantastic but the apartment had a lot of cupboards locked which meant we didnt have a lot of room for 4 people to put things away for 10 days. we ended up leaving things in suitcases. bathroom badly needs a renovation. tiles and laminex were very old. apart from that the location was great.
