Nice place but needs a lot of maintenance.

Left on 04/03/2013 for a stay in March 2013

The first thing that I did once we unpacked was to mop the floors, I was walking around in bare feet and the floor was filthy.
The beds were just ok, not terribly compfy, there were missing ceiling lights, the bar stools needed replacing and whenever we used the barbecue which is situated on the balcony, it would set off the fire alarm which is situated high above the staircase and was extremely difficult to turn off.
The other thing that really bothered us was the buggy, it had no seat belts and the brakes didn't work very well at all.
Don't get me wrong, we loved our stay on Hamilton Island but when you're paying $550 per night you expect everything to be clean and in working order.
The valet service was very efficient and the driver really friendly.
Would definately go back to Hamo but we won't be staying at Shorelines 27.

      Great value and beautiful view!

Left on 01/02/2013 for a stay in November 2012

We had a great time on Hamilton Island. Shorelines was in a great location, and we enjoyed many Bbq's on the deck. The pool is amazing also, with a beautiful view. Having a buggy was a really big help, as the island is quite hilly. Highly recommend coco choo restaurant at the resort in town, especially the pumpkin curry!

One recommendation though, there was no sponges provided or dishwashing liquid. These are basic things, and either should be included or you should let the guests know that they need to bring their own.

Overall, would highly recommend this place. Was one of the best holidays I have been on, in such a beautiful location.

      Hi Jess,

      Thank you for your feedback.

We are pleased to hear you had such an enjoyable time.

Thank you for advising us of the lack of basic cleaning items; these should definitely be included and it has been followed up with the caretaker.

We look forward to welcoming you back.

      Kind regards,

Shorelines apartments were fabulous! They were at the airport to collect us when we arrived and took our luggage and we were given our buggy to explore the island.Shortly after that our room was ready and it has the most stunning views and was a fantastic 2 bedroom apartment for a family of four. They provided the little things like washing powder and dishwashing tablets that just makes everything a little easier. The edge pool is amazing. We will definitely be back!!

Absolutely breath taking and stunning views. Great spot to cook up a barbeque for breaky or dinner. We watched the whales from the balcony while sipping on some nice cold beers. Short distance to shops and tavern. Easy to travel around island and enjoy all the facilities. Highly recommended for any body.

This is an awesome property in a great location. There were a couple of minor maintenance issues with the property, but nothing that took the shine off my stay. The service was awesome, and any issues that i brought to their attention were immediately rectified. can't recommend this property enough.

      Fab!!

Left on 07/16/2012 for a stay in June 2012

We stayed here in June 2012 and had a great time. Unit was lovely and really well presented. View from the balcony was amazing. The buggy was a huge advantage and a big hit with the kids. We scooted around everywhere. The only downfalls were that the advert on the website said beach towels in most rooms and of course we had to pick the room that didnt have any towels. I would suggest that it states somewhere that this room doesn't have towels. At least then you can bring your own. The other thing was that when we went to use the free water sports, they were not free for our room. Even the water kayaks we had to pay for. When you have children that last out there for about 5 mins it makes it rather expensive. We ordered Coles online before we arrived, so that was excellent. Highly recommend... we will definitely be returning. Hamilton Island is just beautiful.

Our stay at Shorelines 27 was absolutely fabulous. We were greeted off the ferry by a friendly caretaker and escorted to our clean, luxurious apartment. It catered for 4 adults and 2 small children (1 in portacot) with ease. The views are nothing short of magical with many a long lunch overlooking the scenic vista! Perfect! Fabulous location on the island with a short buggy ride or walk to the main shop fronts to get coffees and dinner. Use of 2 pools was great also - the Edge pool is outstanding! The only negatives were the dials on the oven are missing and the buggy is a little outdated but apart from that - we'll be back for sure!

We have stayed at Shorelines twice now and love it! Situated in a great location with views to die for, two swimming pools to choose from with the best infinity pool overlooking the whitsunday islands, pure indulgence!. The apartment is well stocked with cooking utensils, BBQ, oven, home from home. The home is well cared for and the master bedroom is roomy and has a lovely balcony. Loved the apartment but the buggy needs some maintenance on its brakes. All in all 9/10, and would thoroughly recommend the apartment and Hamilton Island for a luxurious, relaxing holiday.

A clean well kept and modern apartment with everything one could need. The views from the balcony are superb and apart from the heat, you could sit out all day and watch it.

I would definitely recommend a stay here and we will do so again in the near future.

Great Location - Sadly, unit was very tired and not well maintai

Left on 12/27/2011 for a stay in December 2011

We had a great welcome at the airport by our host and the walk into the apartment took our breath away. The views are absolutely amazing. The beds, linnen and furniture were very comfortable. The well maintained gardens at the complex complimented the outstanding pools at both the Edge and Shorelines. Sadly, after settling in, it was evident that the place had not been properly prepared. Mould in the showers, a BBQ that had not had a decent clean in years, smelly drains in he bathrooms, clumps of dust under the beds, sofas and covering the fans dampend the stay a bit. We had problems with the buggy not charging properly and losing power on the hills. Spoke to iCare and hopefully they will have these minor irritations sorted out for the next guests. If the owners read this, don't spoil a great place - either get iCare to jack up there attention to detail or get new agents. The unit does need a bit of attention for instance the stove has no markings on the dials so you are cooking blind in the oven. There are chipped plates and cups, pots with loose handles and the vacuum cleaner does not work properly. If these are sorted we will be back...

Positive and negative: The place was gorgeous, great location and views. The place was modern but due to lack of cleaning and maintenence it was a bit run down. Windows were dirty and floor was not clean and there was so much dust in every corner. The buggy had no seat and that was a bit dissapointing as we had two kids.

The unit was trully amazing. The decor was modern & beautiful. It was almost like a home from home. Access to everything was so easy from our unit. The sunset was one of the best we have ever experienced from many countries in the world. We would refer our unit in a heart beat. We were sorry to see it was for sale because we would definately like to stay there again.

My brother and I booked this apartment as a surprise getaway to celebrate my mothers 60th birthday. Upon walking into the apartment my mother made an audible gasp at how amazing the unit looked. The views were gorgeous, we were close to everything, we loved zooming around on the buggy, and even though the weather was atypical of the usual sunny Whitsundays, the apartment was so lovely, we didn't really mind having to relax on the covered deck, enjoying a BBQ lunch, sipping chilled wine, soaking in the views...Highly recommend this apartment to anyone.

We stayed at Shoreline 27 which was a wonderful apartment with stunning views, well appointed and maintained. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms with air conditioning and fans in every room. Glad you asked, I would first like to start by saying that the house keeper "Linda" was an absolute gem despite the hick up with the cart not being available due to mechanical problems she was all over the problem from start to finish, the Whitsunday's are one of our favorite spot and the fact we were there for a wedding our accommodation was the envy of all who attended, I could rave on for day's about what we loved so I'm sure you get the hint we will definitely be staying here again next time we visit Hamilton. The only negative was the TV system that was hard to get a channel and would have been good to have some more ipod connectivity. Thanks again for a great stay
