CanberraHouse was fantastic

So often rental properties look far better in photos than they do in reality, this was not the case with the villa. It was in a great position really close to the beach and the pool. It comfortably fit 2 couples and 3 children and was a good layout for kids. If we came to Hamilton Island we would stay at this Villa again.

HampshireLuxury villa with stunning views
Left on 04/20/2012 for a stay in March 2012
On arrival to Hamilton Island we were collected by Chris, a very smiley chap! Our party consisted of two parties arriving on different flights and unfortunately, therte was no collection service for our friends, so we collected them. This was no real hardship. The villa itself is stunning, set in beautiful landscaped gardens. The concierge was ocassionally at reception but by no means regularly. The pool was not maintained during our visit, which was necessary, particularly after a child had scattered sand in and around the pool steps. I did ask for this to be looked at and cleaned, but this never happened. We would most definately need a telephone in the villa, as well as wifi. Also to have the villa serviced is advisable. To leave some basic food stuffs, such as milk, tea, coffee etc would also be welcome. Having stayed in other serviced apartments during our stay to australia, (not 5*) they included more amenities, for less in monetary terms.

We had two couples and three very young children stay in the Yacht Club Villa 20 and enjoyed every moment. If we had have rented 2 properties (as there were two families) of the same standard, it would have been more expensive than this, plus I do not think there is many properties that compare to the Yacht Club Villas. They really do make you feel like you are living the high life. The location and quiet surrounds make you really appreciate the island and have a chance to relax.
We were worried about not having a yard or own pool for the kids but needn't have. They enjoyed the challenge of the three levels of stairs, spotting the boats, jetskis, airoplanes and helicopters from the balcony (it was an education let me tell you!) and of course the novelty of the buggy! Note for others with infants/toddlers: The souvenir shop down at the tourist hub sells miniature buggies, the kids loved them. Definitely worth grabbing one on arrival.
There were a few little glitches like the TV downstairs not working properly but we only realised that the last night when it was pouring. Heck we were on Hamilton Island - who wants to watch TV?? On arrival we realised the kettle was broken and having infants requiring bottles, we were a bit worried about how quickly it would be fixed/replaced. Chris was up in a flash with a new kettle. We also managed to negotiate the price a little with the booking agent to meet our budget so overall, the service from the property manager was far from disappointing.
Big, comfortable, feels like you are on holiday. -

The villa was superb. It meet our needs for a family of 8 perfectly. We especially loved the private nature of the Yacht Club villas with gated entrance, uninterrupted views of the ocean at our feet and the amenities including the amazing pool and buggies. The gardens were very peaceful and the atmosphere on the resort all added to the feeling of truly getting away to an island paradise.

Stayed at Jabula Yacht Club Villa for four days. Holiday to play golf with three golf mates and to take wifes as it was also birthday celebrations.
Jabula provided amazing facilities and five star inclusions from Moet Chandon & Cheese platter on arrival, Loccitane toiletries and two four seater luxury golf carts to tour the island and go shopping. The transfers from air-port and late checkout was a great plus.
The new golf course on Dent Island was spectacular and challenging.
We were happy to dine in most nights and make use of the Miele kitchen.
The views from Jabula(African for happy) were beautiful looking out to the Marina and The Yacht Club, where we had access to the facilties and wave pool.
Our Jabula experience was five star at Holiday Inn prices. -

The family enjoyed our stay at Yacht Club 20. The villas are set amongst landscaped grounds with a swimming pool that overlooks the view from the deck of villa 20. There was plenty of space to move inside and it felt like we were at home as the villa was so clean and comfortable. The views from the deck were stunning whatever the weather was doing - we lived out on the deck as you could never become tired of such a view. The buggy was useful and each day we piled in and went to the other side of the island for our daily hit of tennis and swim. When we were not using the buggy we put on our runners and took to the hills and along the way witnessed some beautiful sea views and when we finished our walk completed the day with a cake and coffee from the local bakery! Teenagers were off jet skiing and speedboating!
My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Yacht Club 20 and would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys life!

The accomodation was amazing with spectacular views and location. The company that manages this house is very unprofessional and should not be managing a property of this quality. We had several problems with the house during our stay and the holiday rental company were hard to reach and are not located on the island.

Yacht Club 20 is a spectacular holiday home in every sense of the word; location, views, gardens, pool, furnishings, facilities, quality of fittings. We had a fantastic stay over 12 days, with a young child going out every night wasnt on the cards, however the kitchen andbbq facilities allowed us to dine in style- especially with supplies from the providores at airlie Beach (ferry delivery worked a treat-quality great). There was only three of us (and a visitor on a weekend) so rambled around this extensive villa - could easily and comfortably housed three couples of a large family (teenagers would love the downstairs bedrooms). Pool was sublime and drinks and snacks at the Yacht Club most welcome at end of the day. Golf cart on hand made exploring the island easy, but very little on offer better than the Yacht Club complex. Concierge staff all most friendly and effecient. Whilst Yacht Club 20 is by no means inexpensive, it is worth a seriously "top end" luxury stay. We had a wonderful experience- a holiday to remember!

Wollongong NSWFamily Holiday at Yacht Club 20
Left on 03/31/2011 for a stay in December 2010
We had a wonderful time at Yacht Club 20. Accomodated 2 families & the kids enjoyed being together in the one location. Great location & very happy with the access to pool etc. Villa was fairly clean, had a power issue when trying to use 2 or more appliances. Called maintenance but contact numbers in villa not correct ones!! called house keeping to get softer pillows (pillows were high & firm) but they were not able to assist. Would suggest that company servicing of the Villa be a bit easier to contact & more accomodating etc also suggest to leave a phone book, takeaway menus etc from the islands restaurants. Other than that, all was great!!!
