Poinciana Lodge is situated on the resort side of the island, overlooking Catseye Beach. This magnificent apartment has two bedroom and two bathrooms making it ideal for a family or two couples.

The main bedroom which boasts a King or Split single beds has spectacular ocean view. It has an ensuite, a 32" LCD TV, iPod docking station, stereo, DVD player and walk-in wardrobe. The second bedroom has a King or Split single beds, iPod docking station and it's own ensuite. Two fold out beds are also available.

The apartment is fully airconditioned and has ceiling fans. We even cater for the children with a cot and highchair.

The l...arge living area has a 42" LCD TV (Austar), DVD, iPod docking station and stereo for your enjoyment.

Enjoy the apartment balcony where you can cook up a storm on the fabulous 6 burner BBQ whilst taking in the gorgeous Great Barrier Reef ocean views and relax on the brand new outdoor settings and twin sun lounges. Sit back, sip champagne and relax.

For the more adventurous, Hamilton Island offers many fun activities, for example, visit the Great Barrier Reef, go para sailing, reef fishing, scuba diving, water polo, mini golf. For the serious golfers the recently opened Hamilton Island Golf Course is only a short ferry ride to Dent Island.

To get around the island with ease, you are provided with the exclusive use of a complimentary 4 seater buggy. You will also be met by our valet service at the airport or ferry terminal and taken to your apartment. This service is also provided for your return.

You'll have access to all resort facilities, including water sports* and the Kids Clownfish Club*. There are also child-minding and baby-sitting services available through the Clownfish Club.

Whatever takes your fancy in the food stakes; there are more than ten restaurants to choose from, various take-away outlets, a bakery and small supermarket on the island. You can also take advantage of ordering online with Coles from the mainland delivered to your door.

Most credit cards are accepted on the island. There is an ATM outside the Westpac Bank on the harbour side of the island. EFTPOS facilities are also available.

  Not very impressed with this apartment it really is in desperate need of a refurb, such a shame as it is a great location, the apartment didn't feel "clean" in particular the floor of the apartment felt very grotty :(. We were shocked that being a self contained apartment that there was no dishwasher. Also found it very cheeky of the person who cleans the apartments contacted us the night before we were checking out asking us to put our towels in the washing machine and dryer, I have never had to do that before.
  
  Was great to have use of the golf buggy to get around. Overall we wouldn't rush back to hamilton island with older children as there really isn't alot to do once you have done everything you can only do so much laying on the beaches or around the pool. If we did go back to hamilton island we certainly wouldn't stay at this apartment we would rather spend a bit more and get something half decent, although we paid $250 a night it seems that is the cheapest on the island i guess you get what you paid for
