This was one of the best holidays ever. The rooms were modern, spacious and well appointed. The view was stunning and the morning sunrises breathtaking. I highly recommend staying at this apartment. We didn't want to leave. The golf buggy was part of the deal and we were extremely well looked after during our stay.
Great family holiday

We loved Frangipani 107. Location and use of buggy was excellent. Beautiful apartment. Well appointed.
Great venue for kids. High locks on the screens doors meant less worry with kids going onto the balcony unsupervised. The great BBQ on the large balcony was terrific for breakfast or evening drinks. Hard not to relax in such beautiful surrounds.
Coles delivery service was brilliant and Frangipani staff went out of their way to collect and store our groceries before we arrived, due to a public holiday affecting delivery options.
Frangipani pool a bit dated but with the beach and multiple pools available it didn't matter.
Will definitely be back again. Kids saying it was the best holiday ever!
beautifully furnished and that view!

- beautiful apartment, furnished to a high standard
- amazing views, falling asleep to palm trees and waves lapping at the beach was very nice indeed
- included golf buggy made getting around the island a breeze and was a hit with the kids
- the double shower with view is awesome (highlight for the kids!)
- did I mention the view
- kitchen had plenty of pots and pans, cutlery and crockery and the double dishwasher was great.
The could be improved
- there was no information on Hamilton island at the apartment, a folder of maps, things to do, shop hours etc would be really great! Information on where to put the recycling/coles eskys would be useful
- TV in the bedroom doesn't get digital TV - then again we weren't on the island to watch TV =)
- accessing the beach: there was a rocky short path we used which I believe is part of some land up for sale. Easier beach access would be awesome
We also got quite a bit of noise from neighbouring apartments and apartments above from time to time. I'm sure this is just the nature of how the apartments were built and is in no way a fault of the apartment itself.

An amazing apartment with incredible views. From the time we landed until we left Courtney gave us the most hospitable and accommodating service, truly outstanding. The apartment catered to all our needs and we had bbqs every night listening to music on the docking station and chilling on the huge balcony. Beautifully fitted out we enjoyed every aspect of the apartment. We cannot wait to return and 107 Frangipani will always be our first choice in Hamilton Island.

We would like to thank the owners of Frangipani 107 for thinking outside the square. A beautifully appointed appartment with everything that could and would open and close. The ensuite in the master bedroom was exceptional. And the shower was to die for.For those people who like to bbq like us.The bbq was like being in 5 star kitchen. The biggest bbq i have ever had the pleasure to use. The features in the kitchen outstanding.Cooking with gas a pleasure and fridge space would allow you to stock up for winter. Also a feature a separate bar fridge for a few coldies after sun went down. If you had a few friends over for drinks no worries about running out of glasses , plates and cutlery.
The appartment was beautifully decorated in fresh modern tones. The most comfortable lounge setting to relax after a hard outrigger paddle i had in many years coming to Hamilton Island. So quiet in this location of the island. The early mnorning bird calls were a pleasure to hear. Even the dialy breakfast vists of the local bird life a treat.Sunset from the balcony not to be missed. As the sun went down over 1 Tree Hill.
To all wanting to stay at Fragipani 107 just do it.Do not miss the opportunity to book now.
Ps do not tell to many of my outrigger pals of this appartment!!

Just as advertised! Whew!

This is a beautiful condo - clean, well kept. The pictures reflect the comfort and feel well. The rental company was professional and on time to pick us up and to take us back to the airport.
The master bedroom is great - lots of space and an interesting concept with the glass-enclosed shower separating the bedroom area from the bathroom. The second bedroom is small and functional.
The kitchen was clean with plenty of clean cooking utensils and appliances.
The view is gorgeous and serene.
A couple of notes: The condo is on the top level, so be prepared to carry your bags up. The dryer is loud, so you'll have to time its use so as not to disturb your sleepers. Neither of these will deter from a great living experience.

Our apartment was just beautiful. It was a pleasure to keep clean and tidy. I wish I lived Ina place like this! We had a sick bub the first few days of our holiday, so we stayed inside a lot. We could relax and enjoy the beautiful view from our balcony and really feel at home in our apartment which was just what we needed. Thanks
No hot water for 2 weeks!!!

we stayed in frangipani 107 in January 2012.Hamilton Island is a beautiful place for a family holiday, This unit has been renovated and is very nice. But!!! our holiday was a big let down due to fact that we had no hot water for the whole 2 weeks that we stayed.we cotacted staff on our first day to fix the problem, and rang them every day, the problem didn't get fixed until the day before we left. so we had hot water for 1 night of our holiday. This was a huge disappointment as we had a 2year toddler whom i had to boil water for.I also had to clean the unit upon arrival as floors, pots and pans, washing machine, dryer, were all filthy. even the place mats for kitchen table were put back into cupboard with food all over them.the oven was so dirty i didn't even use it.the vacume cleaner was so clogged up it took me half an hour to clean it out,we told the staff, they didn't seem to care.the b.b.q hose was melted when we arrived which was fixed in the first 2 days.the location was within easy walking distance of great pools and main reception. Over all we did have a great holiday but the hot water was a big, big let down as we did have some cool weather. This is a very nice and spacious unit, but the staff need to pick up on there cleaning!!!
Wish we could stay longer!

The apartment was beautiful, great location close to the beach and nice and quiet. Well furnished and very modern. Had an amazing time on the island.
The service was friendly from the hostess girls and they were quick to get us towels and toilet paper that was missing when we got there. However, there was no "champagne on arrival" as claimed on our booking email and the website and when we asked about it were told that the owner doesn't provide it... You shouldn't advertise it then. The austar is mostly too fuzzy to watch, so if staying in for the night grab a dvd from video store.

Frangipani 107 was fabulous. We were collected from the airport and given a tour of the island's ammenities. The apartment has all you could wish for it is very spacious, light airy and clean. It is away from the hustle and bussle with a fantastic view day and night over Catseye Beach. The balcony has a dining setting with a barbeque and also a setting area and is frequented by parrots. The best thing about Frangipani 107 is the view over the beach and the ocean. Loved it would stay again if we are ever lucky enough to go to Hamilton Island again.

Location - The main reason for us choosing this apartment was the proximity to the beach, however, we discovered that given that the Island is tiny, the beach is never too far from anywhere on the island. So our reason was not valid.
Construction - The house is very old and whislt some of the house in the complex are newly refurbished, the one we had 001 was a bit dated and old.
Facilities - Also please note that the "resort area / facilities" are common to anyone staying anywhere on the island in any accommodation and the resort area is centrally located so does not matter where you stay. And we never used the pool within the complex - we always went to the resort pool, which is much nicer bigger and lively.
Views - There were no real views from this apartment as its in a corner and at the road level. Next time I would choose something on higher ground overlooking the views rather than proximity to the beach.
1. Dedicated buggy assigned for free as part of the room booking (otherwise it is aud100 per day) which is definitely required to travel around the island as its a lot of inclined roads etc. and also this specific house / complex (Frangipini) is on one corner of the island.
2. The kitchen was quite useful as we had a toddler with us so could get some basic food from the market and eat at the house (there are maybe at most 15 total restaraunts on the island)
3. The service is really good, John the caretaker is very helpful.
Summary - If I was to go again I would stay in a newly constructed apartment rather than go for closer to the beach.

The apartment is nicely renovated but a few extra touches would have really topped things off.
We had a 5 night stay but had no shampoo, only enough toilet paper for 2 nights and the BBQ ran out of gas on the first day. The bottle was not filled while we were their even although it was picked up promptly.
A couple of lights didn't work even with new globes (dining area very dark). I also found it annoying that when the blinds were closed in lounge and bedroom they were not completely private. One of the fry pans was in need of replacement which was done after a request.
The buggy was great, the young girl that escorted us to and from the apartment was pleasant and the location was fantastic with many choices of things to do on the island.
We are already planning a return trip to Hamilton Island

From the moment we landed at the airport, we were taken care of. Easy check-in and buggy pickup, and assistance with all our bags. The apartment was as described, with lots of space for our toddler to roam. And great location for getting to the beach easily. Loved the balcony for relaxing with a fabulous view to enjoy our meals. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Frangipani 107. It is a lovely renovated unit with some smart inclusions. The shower with a view is a nice touch.
The Unit felt spacious and had plenty of natural sunlight and a lovely view to the North.

We had a great family holiday. The apartment was furnished nicely...didn't have cable tv or enough towels. Also seemed like it may have last been cleaned a few weeks earlier as was dusty. All our requests were quickly catered for including extra towels and late check out.

The appartment was so tastefully decorated and had everything there you could wish for.
Beautiful views looked straight out over the beach.
We had a problem with our buggy, but the appartment manager couldn't do enough to fix the problem.
We liked the location of the appartment, where it was quieter than some others.
We really enjoyed the parrots, cockatoos and the posssums visiting us.

This unit is an absolute 10/10, it has everything you need and more. We stayed here for 4 nights and couldn't be more pleased with our stay. We have travelled to Hamilton Island twice before and both times stayed at the reef view hotel, once in the terrace sweet at $700 a night and once in a more sensible room. And I must say thought the terrace was a beautiful unit the frangipani 107 unit would be my 1st pick from now on. The lovebird shower is awesome and the view from the shower OMG what a dream! The bonus buggy is also very convenient.
Absolutely fantastic, can't wait to return

We stayed for 10 days for my husband's 40th birthday and our 10th wedding anniversary, spent alot of money on this holiday and wanted a nice peaceful relaxing holiday. Hamilton Island Private apartments declined to tell us that extensive building work was going on opposite the apartments for our entire stay and we had to listen to jackhammering and construction work for our 'peaceful' holiday, watching bulldozers and excavators going up and down the beach. Absolutely stunning apartment but very inconsiderate and greedy to not pre-warn us of this.
