We stayed at Shorelines 28 for 4 nights apr. 5-9th. The condo was as beautiful as in the pictures and the view from the large balcony was breathtaking. The valet service from the airport was excellent and so was the use of the buggy. We enjoyed cooking a couple of meals on the balcony. The grill was a little different than our typical BBQ in North america, it was an electric griddle. We had numerous birds visiting us on our balcony...we couldn't believe the number of cockatoos and Lorikeets. It was very exciting to see at first, but after a while they became pretty loud and were a bit annoying when we were trying to eat outside. The condo was cleaned nicely and was quite well equipped. We were surprised to find beach towels in the condo as we were told they would not be supplied. We did find a couple of cockroaches in the basement bathroom areas, but we think this is to be expected in this type of climate. The rental agents were terrific to deal with and answered all of our emails promptly. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay and would recommend this property!
Absolutely wonderful - hope to go back again one day

Apartment was great, wonderful outlook over the water. Very relaxing and quieter than the other side of the island, with all of the amenities you could need for a family holiday, although there was just 2 of us celebrating a 60th birthday. The inclusion of a buggy was just perfect. The booking process was easy and the Management company are great to deal with quick comprehensive communication. Being so hilly, you would need the buggy to get around unless you are very fit and love to walk. Restaurants are fantastic, must try Romanos Italian Restaurant and Cho Cho Chu which is modern asian. The whole island is just beautiful with lots of lush tropical gardens and beautiful blue waters surrounding, you can't help but relax and won't want to leave. You can book a seaplane flight to other islands, day cruises to surrounding areas, fishing trips, lots of things to do, or just lay around and relax by the Edge pool which you complementary use off and watch the boats cruise past. Wonderful holiday, even with periods of rain during our stay and some day trips cancelled due to weather, we can't wait to go back again. There are lots of accomodation choices, but this apartment along with The Edge apartments are in a great location and good value. Love the look of the Yacht Club Villas (if you can afford to stay there) and they are in a great location right at the edge of the Marina precinct with wonderful views over the Bay and neighbouring islands. This island is like a little busy town when you get out and about and the perfect place for those travellers who want more than just total isolation. Great place for all ages. Luv Luv this place

This rental property was exceptional. It was very clean and tidy and suited our family perfectly.
The views were incredible and the birdlife was beautiful to watch.
We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay in this rental again.
A truly wonderful experience.

What a brilliant 10 days we spent in Shorelines over Xmas and New Year. The appartment was perfectly appointed and great value for the time of year, leaving enough over to experience all the wonderful restaurants, and activities the island has to offer. The infinity pool was wonderful and waking up to the view from the main bedroom was exceptional. While you can certainly find more expensive/ luxurious accomodation on the Island - I would question the value given how much of the time you spend away from the accomodation either exporing the island, flying to the reef or just relaxing by the pool. The staff were brilliant and always responded to our needs. I couldnt recommend staying here more highly and know we will be back again next year

From when you first arrive, the hamilton island experience is first class. Pick up and drop offs from the front door without a hassle. The accomodation was great and catered to all our needs, but in reality it is what you do outside the accomodation that makes the island special. great choices to do activities or alternatively just kick back and relax - no shortage of eating options and kid friendly.

We recently stayed at shorelines 28, with our 2 children (ages 7 and 9). Apartment was very liveable with separate dining, living and bedroom levels.
Access to 2 pools, especially the infinity pool on the edge of the water was fantastic, especially after a day out on the water or down at the resort pools.
Would recommend this accomodation for a stay at Hamilton.
An excellent experience...

It was great to land on Hamilton and to be excorted to our buggy which were shown how to use before going for a drive a round Hamilton Island. We were given a tour of the main attractions and were then shown our apartment. The property was excellent. We were 100% satisfied and would definately stay there again!

We absolutely loved our apartment. We walked in and were just "wowed" by everything. It was stunning, luxurious fittings, so clean, modern and absolutely beautiful. With everything you could possibly want. The 2 1/2 bathrooms was great - it meant we had our own privacy and the kids had theirs. The toilet upstairs was very convenient and the spa in the ensuite was wonderful. We thoroughly recommend Shorelines 28 and we can't wait to return.

Had a wonderful time, accomodation great- very clean and modern, views spectacular/magical, very relaxing, great for the kids, restaurants great, edge pool fantastic, resort pool bar even better. Only down side was a few days rain and a rude unhelpful consierge.
Great view, great location ...a great holiday !

We have now stayed in shorelines apartments 3 times and have always found them fantastic. Beautiful view, the best location. A fantastic family holiday !!! Shorelines 28 is great except for the early morning possum in the ceiling that woke us every morning !!
Comfortable and well organised

We found the apartment met our requirements very well. It was clean and well presented. The bedrooms were an excellent size and beds were very comfortable. Found the location ideal as you were able to watch the sun set from the balcony. Great benefit that we had access to an additional private pool. Only negative was the golf cart. It would not hold the charge in the batteries and we found that maximum use of the cart was limited be the need to be close to the apartment.
Great view and stylish interior

This is a lovely apartment, stylish and light with expansive views of the water from the two balconies. The main bedroom is large with an open plan en suite. The second bedroom is smaller and although it has no water view or balcony, it opens to a small deck with some greenery. The kitchen is only modestly provisioned. We had some problems with the buggy that came with the apartment. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Great views, nice unit but some appliances not great (eg dishwasher). Buggy was a great feature but this was the slowest buggy on the island. needs some repairs.
Overall very relaxing and well equipt.

The position and set up of the unit was perfect. Could have been a little cleaner and apart from beds not set up as requested on booking, all was good. Would definately
recommend and have done so to friends that have already booked their holiday.

Property was not properly cleaned when we checked in. Towels were damp and smelly. Glassware and plates were not washed properly. Toilet was running all night and when requested to have it fixed straight away - we were told by staff to get ear plugs, if the noise was such a problem. The property itself was fantastic. Just dissappointing that the people running it aren't doing it any justice.

Perfect location with a beautiful view out towards Dent Island. Great balcony to sit and watch the sunset whilst enjoying a bottle of wine. Extremely comfortably apartment with every that was required. Master Bedroom was perfectly situated overlooking the water.
Nice but disappointing

Really nice well designed appartment in a great location with spectacular views. However the property was really poorly looked after with dirt and filth everywhere you looked. I personally cleaned the place on our first day just so that we could feel comfortable staying there which is not what I like to do when I am on holidays. The staff who were looking after the property were very young and appeared interested in being on Hamilton Island whilst travelling and not in their job.

Perfect accommodation for a group of 2 couples. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Close proximity to 2 pools and walking distance to restaurants and shops.
We stayed a couple of days after the cyclone so were impacted by this with water, activity and restaurant availability but still had a great time.

Travelled 6 hours to get to the island, were informed we were going to be picked up from wharf, waited 1 hour to be picked up, despite the attendant at wharf calling the agency again and again. Finally got picked up, house wasn't ready, had elderly mother who wanted to rest, had to take her out and about for 4 hours till house ready - needed cleaning. on ride to house the attendant lost a bag. Dropped out food off to be refridgerated while we had to amuse ourselves waiting for the cleaning to be attended, food was thrown out. Missing towels which we had to request. Then missing bath mats tea towels which we had to request. House itself perfect, however the muck around with the arrival and sorting everything meant stress and hassle which really ruined our stay. We couldn't relax till everything was sorted about 9pm, we arrived at 2pm.
We were checking out if we could have our wedding there, but after that experience - no way. I wouldn't risk having my friends all "talking about it afterwards" because of the accommodation fiasco's, I rather they talk about the great time they had.
Note to other travellers - watch the advertising. Unit was advertised for a lot cheaper (off season rates) than it was when I put the date in for our stay significantly.

A really pleasant place to stay and watch nature and the world go from our balcony. The amenities were clean and all worked well. Beds were comfy and interiors very calming and peaceful on the eye. Close to the conveniences and restaurants of the islands.

After extensive research I picked this property for my family as our last stop in australia. This property was nice and modern with a fantastic view from the balcony. After walking around barefoot on the hardwood floors for ten minutes, our feet were black from dirt and lifting a cushion on the sofa revealed bits of food and hair. I reported the conditions to the rental management who sent their cleaning person/check in rep to the property to clean up while we were out. We returned to the property to find that mopped hardwood floors only spread the dirt and hair not picking it up. Called the rental management again, cleaning person/check in rep was sent back again but this time with a rude attitude. responce was "You can't get hardwood floors super clean". I said if I wear socks and walk 20 feet, my socks should not be dirty and have hair on them! All I asked for was a clean condo. My family felt we could have been treated in a much better manner. Guests should not have to report or endure such conditions.
