Rochester, NYBest Vacation home and family!
Left on 03/08/2013 for a stay in December 2012
We stayed here for almost 2 months. They were so accommodating! We needed a place to stay while we figured out where to live while my husband was home for a short time between deployments. They helped ease all our worries once receiving the 1st email. Which was a very fast response. When we arrived we couldn't believe how beautiful it was. The house and yard were clean, and had everything you could need or want. The view is breathtaking. Our two dogs loved running the yard and watching the waves crash on the rocks. They had treats for all the family members, including the dogs. Having the heated floors was such a bonus and treat, among all the other amenities they offered made it feel like home. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an amazing place to get away from their crazy life style and unwind. Thank you for having us for such a long time!! We truly enjoyed our stay.
P.S. If you have time you should check out the private beach a few minutes away.

Winston-Salem, NCExcellent apartment Experience
Left on 12/28/2012 for a stay in December 2012
Our wonderful 4-night stay started with homemade Gingerbread baked by our host, Kimberly. Even our family dog was greeted with personalized treats and a toy. The personal touches and well-stocked kitchen were beyond our expectations, including the Trader Joes goodies. Our 14-year-old daughter loved the comfortable reclining chairs and whirlpool tub. My husband and I appreciated the private bedroom and plush comforter set. This apartment is stocked with everything we needed and the location was ideal for visiting my family in Grandview. We look forward to returning to this pet-friendly apartment again.

KYGreat little hide-away
Left on 10/23/2012 for a stay in October 2012
We stayed at the Island Waterfront in the middle of Oct. Kimberly had everything ready for us - even hot chocolate and marshmallows! The apartment is cozy and very welcoming, the oceanfront view can't be beat and the short walk to the private beach was a treat.

Roanoke, VAGreat October Mini-Vacation
Left on 10/17/2012 for a stay in October 2012
My husband and I, along with our springer spaniel, stayed at this bayfront basement apartment for a four-day weekend. We had an absolutely great experience. The apartment was clean and tidy, and Kimberly added personal touches such as Dunkin Donuts coffee, Lindt truffles, hot chocolate packets and marshmallows, and even personalized treats and a squeaky toy for the dog. The location is fantastic with the nature preserve on one side and the private beach on the other. We loved the view from the bay and watching the dolphins was incredible. We even saw deer tracks on the beach (my husband is an avid hunter so he was very excited about this). I agree with the previous reviewers that seafood at Harpoon Larry's is not to be missed (we recommend the stuffed mushrooms and the spiced shrimp). We also enjoyed dining at the Crab Shack on the James although don't trust your GPS...the restaurant is just before you cross over the James River Bridge and the turn is to the right. Finding a smaller rental property that allows dogs was proving impossible until I found this place on the vrbo.com website. We couldn't have been happier with our mini-vacation.
