Our CABANA is secluded and private in a garden setting with an ocean view. The studio cottage with its open beam ceiling and ceiling fan offers a bright and airy tropical hideaway from which to explore the many natural wonders of Hana. Tastefully decorated in island style, a soji blind separates the queen size bed from the living area.
It has a full kitchen and bath with cable TV, DVD and CD player with an iPod dock. Wireless Internet is available on the property. After barbecuing dinner on the outdoor hibachi, you can relax in the hot tub on the covered deck and enjoy views of the tropical flower garden and the beautiful Pacific Ocean...Read more

The Hawaii State tax rate of 13.5% will be added to the above rate. We have a two night minimum stay for reservations made more than a week in advance unless one night is "sandwiched" between two other reservations. We will gladly accept a one night stay a week ahead of time.

The road to Hana takes you to a slower side of Mau'i. Not a lot of tourist shops but quite restful. (It gets really dark at night!) We enjoyed the Hana Cabana, except for the lack of Verizon cell service until we traveled towards Hana 2 miles east. Internet connectivity worked okay. Bring your own condiments, the selection is limited.
The evening breeze blowing through the flower plants was soothing, the mosquitos liked my wife but not me, (this did generate some discussion).
A nice quite getaway that is off the beaten path. -

I searched a long time before making the decision to stay at the Hana Cabana for our last 2 nights on Maui for our 25th anniversary. I was not disappointed. Such a homey place yet airy in this 500sq. ft. amazing cottage! Unlike what I heard and read that Hana is humid and lots of bugs etc. that was not true. Sure the humidity was up, there were a few bugs, but nothing like what I thought it would be! The hot tub was pure joy and you can turn down the heat to enjoy at a temperature that pleases you. Far from the maddening crowds you are alone with the flora and birds all around, beautiful sounds of nature and the nightly brief rain shower was delightful! I recommend this retreat to anyone and yes, end your Maui stay in calm peaceful bliss in Hana. Thank you Rebecca!
