      It doesn't get any better

Left on 02/15/2013 for a stay in January 2013

Well, maybe it does if you require fancy luxury digs. But for our group of 9 adults it was amazing. And it would be great for a family with kids. The living room seated 9, the table 10 with 2 added chairs, and the view of Hanalei Bay is unbelievable. To be able to walk out onto the beach, or play frisbee in the truly gigantic yard is so such a delight.

The only downside is that 2 of the bedrooms have double beds that are framed in on 3 sides. Not great for a couple--fine for a single. And the 2nd bedroom upstairs isn't built to privately share the master bathroom. It works best if its occupants use the downstairs bathroom.

We've already made plans to go back.

      The Perfect Vacation Spot!

Left on 06/07/2012 for a stay in May 2012

We visited Hanalei for a friend's wedding and this house was the king of the court! Able to host tons of friends, the most relaxing spot right on the beach, walking distance to everything in town. A must rental... we'll be back next year and every year after!!

      Perfect location!!!

Left on 10/14/2010 for a stay in August 2010

We love, love, love this location and have come to love the house as well. The kitchen and porch have perfect views and are super comfortable for multiple families. The bedrooms, matresses and sheets could be improved but we don't spend much time there!

A perfect location and a near-perfect house. The bathrooms could stand to be updated (we asked to have two of the toilets re-bolted to the floor as they wobbled), as could kitchen appliances (the fridge is outmoded, and the tracks for its drawers are not all intact; the dishwasher is not very effective, and many items needed to be hand-washed with soap before being put in the dishwasher; in the meantime, prior guests had put dishes in the dishwasher with food still on them, and I had to clean out the drain of the dishwasher to remove large chunks as well as stringy, fibrous foods; the blender needed to be taken apart in order to be fully cleaned, as the blade had food in the grooves of where it screwed into the jar).
Having said all that, the house was comfortable, even with 10 people in it, and the location was ideal. We would be delighted to return.

      Perfect!

Left on 08/18/2010 for a stay in August 2010

We had a great time with all our children and grandchildren coming in stages. When they overlapped for four days, we also rented a small cottage nearby through Na Pali. Everything worked out beautifully.

      a special relaxing place

Left on 07/22/2009 for a stay in July 2009

Wilikoki was perfect for our 3 day weekend seminar accommodations. Our group of 10 had plenty of room to gather to socialize and plenty of room for privacy. The lanai was especially wonderful and the proximity to town was very convenient. The folks at NaPali were very responsive and friendly. All in all an excellent experience!

      Family vacation

Left on 03/08/2009 for a stay in February 2009

We had a great time! This house is ideally situated--steps from a great swimming beach and only a few minutes walk from the charming town of Hanalei. My only criticism is the house could have been a little better stocked--beach and bath towels were limited and the kitchen had no staples--only salt and pepper.
      We would stay there again!

      Relaxed Hawaii

Left on 01/27/2009 for a stay in April 2008

We have visited Hawaii many times but found this beach front house the most enjoable way to be relaxed in Hawaii. We prefer the more natural less cosmopolitan Hawaii. The house was great. The only negative is it only has one good bedroom for couples sharing the house. The view from the Master is perfect and so is the view from the bathroom!

      We will definitely return soon.

Best for a family with kids

Left on 12/15/2008 for a stay in January 2007

Well, it's been nearly two years, but our recollection is positive. We were only there for a day prior to our week at Avery House (which we much prefer) The house is a little dark for our taste and some of the porch furniture was in disrepair.
