This all-season, 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom waterfront cottage is set well back from the road overlooking Lake Rosalind. This tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished... cottage has all the comforts of home. It's an ideal vacation choice for small groups and families. The cottage has an attached two car garage with an inside entry door to the cottage. (Note: the separate three car garage is not available for renters' use). There is a large paved parking area conveniently located close to the front entrance to the cottage and its charming covered front porch. Inside the front entrance is an entry foyer leading to a spacious open concept kitchen, dining and living area with beautiful hardwood floors that create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and plenty of windows that provide terrific views of the lake and large rear yard. The bright, modern kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and a centre island with seating for four people. The kitchen is well equipped with fridge/freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker and more to satisfy your culinary needs and make meal preparation a breeze. The open concept allows for easy conversation between those in the kitchen, dining and living areas. The dining area features a vaulted ceiling, a pine harvest table that easily seats eight, and patio doors to a large elevated rear deck. The living room provides comfortable furniture to unwind in and includes two full size couches, a chair, two large ottomans, a gas fireplace, 46" HD TV with satellite, and a DVD player. This is a great spot for a relaxing morning coffee, afternoon conversations, spending time with your favourite book or enjoying an evening with your family. On the main level there is a two piece bathroom with sink and toilet, and a laundry room with a washer and dryer for your laundry needs during your stay. There are two bedrooms on the main level, one of which is the master. The large master bedroom has a king size bed and features hardwood floors, two large windows with views of the lake and a four-piece ensuite bathroom with a double sink vanity, granite counter top, separate tub and shower. In the second bedroom on the main level there are two single beds and a window looking out onto the front yard. On the lower level there is a cozy family room with a couch, loveseat, chair and ottoman - a great spot for keeping the kids occupied on a rainy day. The family room has a large window with views of the lake and rear yard, and a door to a ground-level patio. On this lower level there are also three bedrooms, each with a queen bed. There is also a four-piece bathroom with a tub/shower, double sink vanity and granite counter top. Above the patio is the large upper level deck that can be accessed from the dining room or the rear yard stairs. On the deck there is a patio table, umbrella, six chairs, two loungers and a natural gas BBQ for grilling up your favorite feasts. The upper deck is a perfect spot for taking advantage of the lake view, catching some sun, and breathing the fresh air. There is a large rear yard and a garden with garden art and a pond/waterfall feature at the shore. The lawn is a great place for kids to play. Be sure to bring your outdoor yard games - the generally level rear yard will be perfect. At the shore you will find a sand beach and a dock. There is also a large stone patio at the shore with four Muskoka chairs and a fire pit that is available for evening campfires, marshmallow roasting, taking in the starry night sky and sharing stories. You are conveniently located just 10 minutes away from the Town of Hanover where you will find groceries, shopping, restaurants and pubs, harness racing and gaming at the OLG Slots facility, movie theatre, parks, and a number of area festivals and attractions to please the whole family. Canoe, kayak and tube along the Saugeen River, take your camera and explore the area waterfalls, cycle and hike the trails at Allan Park Conservation Area, the Brant Tract or the 11 km Hanover Rail Trail along the Saugeen River. Play one of the local golf courses. Try fishing on the Saugeen River or the local lakes. Stroll the streets of the heritage towns and villages in the area and explore unique gift and antique shops. View the vibrant fall colours and in the winter when the ground is blanketed with white fluffy snow there is skiing and snowshoeing. At the top of the road is access to a vast trail system for snowmobiling.
