Small well appointed house in quiet neighborhood. Situated on the New Meadows river very close to Cundy's Harbor, a busy fishing village. Sit on the Holbrook's Wharf eaterie and watch the locals unload their catches.
Kayaking is excellent in the area. Many trips in and around the islands on the tidal river. 3 miles to open ocean. Many historic places to see within 10 miles. Town of Harpswell has many wonderful walking/hiking trails. Summer theater on Bowdoin College campus.
No smoking on property. No open fires i.e. campfires, candles, or fireworks.
Daytime guests limited. Ask for particulars. No big gatherings, family reunions, etc.
Zero tolerance for illegal substances.
Storage shed for gear. Local ordinances prohibit use as bunkhouse.
Parking for 2 registered vehicles. No RV's, tents, campers.

This is a beautiful vacation home--very clean and very well appointed, with all the comforts of home and lovely views. The owners are extremely gracious and helpful and are close by if you need anything. The house is located in a private, very quiet neighborhood and it's right on the water. Great for relaxing, kayaking, canoeing, and birdwatching, with plenty of hiking trails nearby. Convenient to restaurants and shopping and scenic, quaint villages. We really loved that you can watch the tides come and go from the comfort of the living room or from the deck. We would absolutely love to stay there again.
