Cape Cod Vacation Rental Cottage in great location near the "Campground" in Harwich Port. This is a guest cottage that is a separate building from main home. Walk to either private association beach on Ayer Lane or public beach on Pine Street and town. This cottage has a private patio with a gas grill and outdoor shower. The main floor has a living/dining area, kitchen and full bath. The 3 bedrooms are upstairs on second floor. The master bedroom is a suite with hi def TV. The home also has high speed wireless internet and a/c units in the downstairs living area and upstairs master suite. There is a log heater for cool fall nites. NO SMOKING!...Read more

I booked this cottage for my family (with two young children) and couldn't have been happier with the location. It was just roomy enough, though the kitchen and bathrooms are extremely small, and while there have been cosmetic upgrades (nice landscaping, outdoor shower) the basic feel of the interior is very rustic. There is very little outdoor space and essentially the cottage is attached to another house, so privacy can be an issue. The biggest upside to this place is it's proximity to a lovely private beach which is only steps away.

You can't beat this location - one minute walk to the beach and five minute walk to town (including coffee shop, Bonatt's, etc.) but the living area in this house is small and the kitchen is tiny (it should really be called a kitchenette). Master bedroom is generously sized but other bedrooms are on the smaller end and bathrooms are small and older.
