The home is constructed with the finest attention to every detail. Floor to ceiling windows and doors bring the outside inside, in every room. The eight- inch t...ongue and groove custom milled redwood walls, and floor to ceiling stone fireplace creates an inviting living room, with views to the outside lanai, and extensive landscaping. This room is perfect for relaxing, watching the beautiful flat screen 50” TV, or just gazing out through the tall Norfolk pines to the ocean beyond. There is a formal dining room, with floor to ceiling windows looking outside to grassy expanse and ocean view. Exquisitely furnished with a glass top table and comfortable chairs, this room is perfect for a formal family dinner.

The farm kitchen, complete with hanging pot rack, and plenty of counter space, looks out to the lanai,, with a casual dining spot consisting of a bar top and three bar stools. A wet bar, complete with sink, shelves, and countertop opens to the outside lanai for outdoor entertaining, perfect for a family and friends gathering.

The bedrooms are completely separate from each other, and private. Each has it’s own bathroom, and beautiful floor to ceiling windows providing extraordinary views to the outside.

Outside provides views to the grassy lawns, tall trees, ocean and abundant tropical plants. A deck, with a hot tub, just a step outside the doors of the living room, kitchen, and second bedroom, beckons on the lovely, cool, North Kohala nights. A place often missed by tourists, North Kohala is rich in natural history,being the birth place of King Kamahamaha. Free from the hustle and bustle of busy tourist towns, Hawi town doesn't even have a traffic light, and none of that Kona "vog" or Hilo rain.

Hawi town, the center of the sugar plantation community of years gone by, is within walking distance of Hawi Farms. Free from traffic, vog, crowds, and tourist traps, you will find yourself eating ice cream with the locals, and relaxing like never before, when you arrive in Hawi Town.

Your exploration of the area will take you to the works of local artisans, where you will find unique treasures, not found anywhere else. Great food and entertainment is available at your doorstep, in town, with expert chefs and world famous musicians.

From Hawi Town you have access to incredible sightseeing, beaches and tours. The magnificent Pololu Valley is minutes away. A hike down to the black sand beach, for a picnic is a must for most guests. A quiet stroll through nearby Kapau Town, and the many galleries takes a little less energy, and is also a must.
