Additional Location Information

Haworth is the historic village in Yorkshire made famous by the Bronte family. Staying in our beamed cottage enables you to learn about them and their lives, visiting the Church and Parsonage, living in Haworth Main Street on the cobbles, browsing in the bookstore across the street and walking the moors just as they did.
Also in July 2014 Yorkshire plays host to Le Grand Depart - Tour de France. Stage 2 on Sunday the 6th of July actually passes our cottage in Haworth village as part of the 200km York to Sheffield stage. See us on TV!!
If you wish to explore other local places of interest, such as Salts Mill at Saltaire, the market town of Skipton, the National Media Museum in Bradford and many others, you can use public transport or a car. We have a residents' parking permit for the bottom of Main Street. Public transport in the area is good. You can travel to the nearby town of Keighley by bus and from Keighley railway station it's a half hour journey to Leeds or Bradford.
