Casa Paradisio, a secluded waterfront property, sits on almost 2 acres. It is new (8/2011) with satillo tile floors downstairs, and solid oak floors upstairs. Twelve feet of french doors face the lake for a beautiful view, and first floor has a 9 ft ceiling. This 1040 sq ft cottage comes fully furnished. Large kitchen has stainless appliances and black marble tiled countertop and bar, with 4 bar stools. Plantation shutters cover the windows. Very comfortable plush king bed in bedroom suite upstairs. The cottage is located in a quiet, golf cart community (altho you rarely see one) which has 3 natural lakes. . It is a peaceful setting with much wildlife in the area, and you may see one car pass by during the day if you happen to look.
Past guest have enjoyed fishing, swimming in the crystal clear water, or boating in the canoe, jon boat, or pedal boat. Also walking or riding bikes in the neighborhood which consists of many retired professionals, others whom are working towards retirement, or weekend lake homes.
Community Information
This lake is situated in a community of 3 lakes. It is a 'golf cart community' and ideal for riding bicycles or walking/jogging. There are a number of wild animals and birds in the area, and seeing eagles fishing in the lakes is a common sight. We generally see many turkeys, Sand Hill Cranes, eagles, and Blue Heron. There are a lot of deer in the community as well, and even a fawn has been spotted at the cottage. A beautiful English butterfly garden surrounds the front entrance.
Reserve early for the UF Gator football home games in Gainesville, FL. It is sure to be an exciting season! Go Gators! Or, whichever team you are a fan of!
Close to Boy Scout and Girl Scout camps outside Hawthorne.
Hawthorne to Gainesville bike trail located a short 8 miles from cottage.
Many of North Florida natural springs are located approx 1 hour away. Enjoy swimming, canoeing or diving.
