Enjoy the peace and tranquility of this cozy 2 bedroom 2 bedroom lodge style cabin nestled in the woods on top the mountain ridge and over looking the Hiawassee River. A wall of large glass windows allows you to enjoy the view from inside while warming yourself by the gas log stone fireplace , dining in the dining room, or reading a book up on the loft. While sitting or grilling on the large deck you can enjoy the sounds of the river rushing below.

I really enjoyed this rental. My family has rented cabins quite a few times for a more relaxed vacation, and so I have seen many of them. Most of the time, I look at the pictures and have to remind myself that the view probably isn't quite that good, accomodations aren't quite as nice as portrayed, etc. When we arrived at Hibernation Ridge, I was very happy to be in a place that was actually better than the pictures showed. My one and only complaint is that I wish the hot water had been on before we arrived. We got to the cabin later in the day after a long drive, and it would have been nice to have a hot shower as soon as w got there. All in all, though, it was a great trip, and I would definitely go back given the chance. I would definitely recommend this to a couple or small family as a great getaway spot.

This was my first vacation without my immediate family and it was perfect! The view from the back balcony was breathtaking no matter the time of day. Since it was my first time driving in the mountains, I was terrified driving up the gravel path, but it turned out to be very safe for my SUV. The cabin was spotless and so cozy I didn't want to leave! I'll definitely be back, hopefully around the fall season when the leaves are changing color!

This was our second visit to Hibernation Ridge. We like to come in the fall when the trees are turning... and with the river directly below the cabin, the view is stunning...

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It was clean, comfortable, new & upscale. The location was great with a fabulous view. Easy to get anywhere, since it is just a few miles from downtown Hayesville. Highly recommend it!
