Enjoy the serene quiet of our rural setting just minutes from beautiful Healdsburg. Surrounded by vineyards the property sits amidst a large organic flower and vegetable garden filled with butterflies, birds, and bees.
A private patio overlooks the Russian River Valley and is the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee at the beginning of the day or a glass of wine at the end. The owners are beekeepers and sell their own raw organic honey, as well as eggs from their chickens.

Our Cottage is located only 5 minutes from the Healdsburg Plaza, but the peace and tranquility of our location makes you think you are deep in the countryside. We have views over the Russian River Valley, and a garden filled with flowers, birds, bees and butterflies. Just sit in your own private patio and soak it all up after a long day of wine tasting. My mother and I stayed here during a wonderful trip through the wine country. While the vineyards were amazing, this cottage was truly the perfect home away from home. It's cozy and comfortable. The gardens surrounding it are breath taking. It feels like a garden paradise for sipping wine or coffee! Kristine and Charles are wonderful hosts and are available to answer questions yet you have complete privacy. Its just minutes away from the adorable Healdsburg town center and a quick drive to all of the wonderful vineyards. Even the drive over to the Napa side is quick, easy and very scenic.
We truly can't wait to return and will be bringing my kids and husband this time!

We have just returned from our stay at Kristine and Charlie's Country Cottage and miss it already! It is the perfect place to stay in Sonoma as it is just a short drive to Healdsburg and is in close proximity to the 101 and San Francisco. Kristine's gardens are spectacular and make the perfect spot for watching the sun set over the Sonoma countryside while sipping a glass of wine. Kristine and Charlie are delightful hosts and have equipped the cottage wit all the amenities. The cottage is extremely private and peaceful. Be sure to enjoy some of Kristine's honey it is absolutely yummy!

First visit to California and spent last 6 nights here. Great. Relaxing, very comfortable,tons of space and convenient for Healdsburg and travelling around. Lots of great local info from Kristine and Charles (it's a long way from Scotland!). Armstrong Woods are amazing - had really good long walk there!
Trying to make the jar of honey we brought home last as long as possible .
If we ever come back this way would not hesitate to stay here again. -

Came up to Healdsberg area to visit friends and recoup from minor surgery and couldn't have been more pleased. I echo the previous comments about the comfortable, thoughtful accommodation,the lovely gardens and views, and the convenience to S.F. and the 101 highway. The lovely Healdsberg downtown was only a 5 minute drive away. All level floors and large step-in shower, so I had no problem with my temporary cane use. Kristine and Charlie were charming,helpful,unobtrusive but available if desired..I definitely will return with friends for exploring and wine tasting in the future. So great to find such a wonderful place so close to the City.

Our first trip to the wine country and we knew nothing. I found the Country Cottage while searching places to stay in the region. What a great find! We drove straight to the cottage and found it to be spacious, so very comfortable and what a peaceful place to rest. It has been a long time since we have been able to sleep with windows open and wake up with such a beautiful countryside. Country Cottage is located near Healdsburg and great wineries. We look forward to staying here again. Thanks for your great recommendations.

The Cottage is in a beautiful location up a long road. Kristine brought us 6 freshly laid eggs from her hens and was very friendly as were her family. The Cottage is also very well equipped as Kristine seems to have thought of most things one might have forgotten to bring.
We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and would definitely recommend Kristine and Charlie's Cottage.

We stayed here just one night and plan to come back next time we're in Healdsburg. We loved the cottage itself (slept so well in the bed--and on the futon in the living room!) and the gardens (huge blackberries, wild and vivid flowers...) Kristine, the owner, is welcoming, respectful of privacy, fascinating, friendly and a great all-around cottage host! This is a great place with all the perks of not being in downtown Healdsburg, but it's just 3 miles outside of town, so it was a quick and easy trip to Cyrus for us.

Country Garden Cottage is the perfect base from which to explore Northern California. Set in a beautiful garden (the roses and flowers were in full bloom during our stay), on top of a hill, the very comfortable cottage gave us a wonderful view over the surrounding vineyards and hills as we set out in the morning and even more wonderful sunsets in the evening when we returned. Our hosts , Kristine and Charles were very welcoming and gave us lots of advice on local vineyard vists, tours, a wonderful redwood grove nearby at armstrong Reserve, excellent restaurants in Healdsburg and all, in fact, that we, as first time visitors, could have wished to know. All in all, a perfect place and highly recommended.

Having enjoyed our first visit so much last summer, we rented the cottage again in January. We love the quiet comfort of the location, on a hilltop surrounded by trees and flowers (yet only a short drive to downtown Healdsburg and Windsor). The rooms are spacious and are laid out in such a way as to ensure privacy, the decor is homey, the bed is heavenly, the TV/DVD/music systems are much better than a pricey hotel's, and the Sieberts are friendly and accommodating hosts.
