Our cottage is one of the best priced rentals right on the river with a big spa. It is priced the same or lower than other rentals across the street or up Fitch Mountain. There is a big difference being on the river, the deck and dinning room have views and lots of natural lights. The cottage is a vintage updated 2 Bedroom, 1 Bath Cottage located on the Russian River in Healdsburg. The Russian River is located behind the house just steps away from a nice beach. The Cottage is located on Redwood Drive behind Fitch Mountain on the Russian River in Healdsburg, in the heart of the Sonoma County Wine Country. The house is a 3 mile drive to the Healdsburg town square with has many fine restaurants and shops. Many popular wineries are located nearby in Dry Creek and Alexander Valleys.
The Villa Chanticleer is less than a mile away, a wonderful facility for weddings. The SF Airport is 65 miles from Healdsburg. The local Healdsburg Airport is 7 miles from the house.

My husband and I just spent four fabulous nights at this perfect little Russian River getaway. I was looking for - peace and quiet, a beautiful view, a comfortable bed, a beachfront for reading and a decent kitchen for cooking meals at home. My husband was looking for - a river adventure, a neighborhood vibe and Redwoods! We both got exactly what we were looking for and so much more. We spent our mornings on the deck overlooking the river watching the fog roll by and listening to the waking forest. We spent our days exploring the nearby vineyards and the darling town of Healdsburg, and our afternoons on the river with my husband tooling around in the canoe while I read on the shore on their lounge chairs. We also spent a day on the coast at Jenner which was just about a one hour drive through absolutely gorgeous wine country. At night we ate dinner on the deck and then sat in the jacuzzi before winding down with a movie. I especially appreciate the thoughtful attention to detail. Little things like having a coffee grinder and a Brita water pitcher go a long way toward ensuring a comfortable stay. Finally, most importantly for a truly relaxing vacation, the beds, the bedding and the pillows were fantastic!! I even took photos of one of the comforters so I can try to find it for my own home. The only recommendation I would make is that you bring along one good, sharp knife and that if you want to watch a movie you're ready for a dude flick. I think maybe Edrene's husband stocked the dvd library - my husband was very happy! I would recommend this vacation rental to anybody and hope to come back again soon.

We looked forward to returning to "our" cottage after our daily excursion to Healdsburg and the vineyards. Great central location to visit breweries, vineyards, Redwood Forests, and less than an hour to the Pacific ocean. Very inviting and relaxing. A terrific view of the graceful Russian River. The hot tub was a big plus.

We absolutely loved staying at your place!!! With no exception, everything about your home was perfect. We've stayed at many beach houses and none was as fully equipped or homey. More space than I thought we would have. We had a wonderful time, including an inner tube trip down the Russian River. If we're ever in the area again or have friends visiting the area, your place is the place!!!

My wife and I needed a get-a-way. We wanted a quiet place that was clean, comfortable with the services of a home and a peaceful, restfull view of nature, preferably near the river. This cabin exceeded our expecations. The owners added plenty of little "touches" that made our stay very comfortable. We only stayed for 3 nights because of responsibilities at home. We spent most of our time in the cabin and on the deck because our goal was just to relax.. The view from the back deck was wonderful. The river was "right there". The view was filled with trees, the river and birds and ocassional canoeers. You could smell the river from the deck. The rooms were tastefully decorated and very comfortable. We will return.
