Additional Location Information
We are located in the heart of the wine country just 10 minutes from dowtown Healdsburg in Sonoma County, California. Just one hour from San Francisco, the area is ideal for outdoor activities, great restaurants, and one of the most beautifull wine regions in the world.
Our winery and cottage are one of the few that is operating 100% on solar energy. We are ecstatic that we can do our part not only to preserve mother earth but to conserve energy. We try to practice this not only in our lifestyle, but in our winemaking/vineyard managment process as well. We welcome you to come, stay in our cottage, have a glass of wine and check us out.

Los Gatos, CAWow what an experience!
Left on 02/07/2013 for a stay in July 2012
I booked the cottage based on a recommendation for my wife's b-day, and we had a spectacular time! The cottage was clean, extremely spacious and very private .. with great views of the vineyards! Location was perfect (central) and the service/hosts were five star. We spent one whole day there for lunch, bocce, feeding the goats and of course tasting Kachina's fine wines. We would definately recommend and we will be back!

San Diego, CABest weekend ever!
Left on 02/01/2013 for a stay in April 2012
A group of my girlfriends and I hit the road for our annual girls' weekend, and what better place to go than wine country?! We were fortunate enough to stay at Kachina's winery cottage, and it was amazing! It was large enough with all the comforts of home to make us feel comfortable, yet still had the charm of a small country cottage.
If you have the opportunity to stay here I highly recommend it! I promise that you will not be disappointed. There is something truly magical about Kachina Vineyards. The wine is fabulous, Nancy and Greg are delightful, and the premises are so beautiful and serene.
I can't wait to get back up there myself. -

Santa Rosa, CAPrivate, perfect, and close to everything!
Left on 02/01/2013 for a stay in September 2012
Dry Creek Valley is one of my favorite wine regions to visit, and this cottage is the perfect headquarters for long days of exploring the area. It's the only guest lodging on the grounds of a small winery owned and run by Greg and Nancy Chambers. It's set back down a long driveway and behind the winery gates, but it only takes a few minutes to drive to the heart of Healdsburg. You're nestled among oak trees, and looking out over vineyards - plus deer and wild turkeys for entertainment. The cottage is perfect for two adults, with a living room, bedroom, bathroom, casual dining area, and a full kitchen. We especially appreciate the kitchen, since we opted to enjoy the view with homemade breakfast in the morning, rather than jumping up and getting ready to hit a restaurant. We also decided to spend one evening on the winery grounds, using the beautiful patio as a setting for casual dinner of cheese and other goodies bought during the day. The Chambers are great hosts, and directed us to a few small wineries in the area we would have overlooked. Highly recommended.
