This restored country home sits in the Alexander Valley near the famous Jimtown store, and looks across to and around vineyards. Just 7 minutes from Central Healdsburg, many wineries are nearby such as Fieldstone, White Oak, Sausal and Hanna, and Calistoga is within a 20 minute drive.

As you drive up to the home you will notice how the owners involved the surroundings in its color scheme and design. Literally restored from the studs, this home has many quality features such as hardwood flooring, updated modern kitchen, and modern bathrooms.

Sitting on an acre of property, our guests can walk in the back half where fruit trees and... gardens grow, including vegetable and herb gardens, or take advantage of the deck and patio with bbq and hot tub. Also convenient is the Jimtown store, where you can walk over for coffee, scones, or a gourmet treat.

Walking through the double glassed doors, you enter the living room and great room area. This home has a wide open floor plan, where kitchen, dining room, living room and TV/Entertainment areas all flow into one another, but are furnished very separately.

Then continuing down a hallway, you will find three bedrooms, with two queen beds and two twin beds, and two full bathrooms. Just off the living room area is a hot tub, placed for convenience and privacy, where you can sit and wrap up your day in comfort. SCP# 387Read more

  Just returned from a stay at Jimtown house and couldn't have been more pleased. The property behind the house was beautiful and everything was in bloom. It made for a wonderful place to place horseshoes and hang out/enjoy the outdoors. The inside of the house was was also very pleasant and decorated in good taste. We had everything we needed and more. Also, there is a great indoor/outdoor bar walking distance down the street and the river is near by if you need to cool down and float.

  Memorable Family Vacation in Wine Country

  My wife and I and our 3 kids (age 6, 4 and 1) stayed in the wonderful Jimtown house. It was the perfect setting for our family - vineyards in front and back, with a fruit and herb garden in the backyard, grassy areas for the kids to play, and so much more. The renowned Jimtown store is right next door - nothing better than a rural setting with easy access to a lively country place to get an espresso and delicious homemade food. The Hawkes winery is next to the store and they threw a great weekend party with grilled food from Jimtown, wine tasting (great wine!) and live music.
  
  The house itself was perfect for us with 3 big bedrooms, and a wide open kitchen and living area. In addition to the backyard garden (where we found lots of fresh fruit), the house had a hot tub and large porch for outdoor eating and lounging.
  
  The other benefit of the Jimtown house is its proximity to so many fun family outings - everything from the Russian River and redwoods, to Castello di amorosa, along with wine tasting for the adults.
  
  The owners were wonderful too. We arrived a bit early as they were cleaning up some projects at the house, so we had chance to talk to them. They were very nice and explained the history of the house and area, which made it all the more meaningful. We can't wait to go back!
