IFThis is a great place.
Left on 11/15/2012 for a stay in November 2012
I've stayed in a number of different places around Sonoma. This is by far the best place we have stayed. It is a cozy home with a wood burning fireplace. It is well kept and the scenery is beautiful. The porch with the view of the river and the comfortable furniture was used every morning by all. We managed to make some rock star breakfasts in the small kitchen and sat together in the family dining area. The bedrooms were nice. If I had one comment to make, I'd suggest moving up a size on the main floor bed. The room is small, I realize but for couples, it is probably something that would score some points. If we return we will check the availability on this place first. If you get the chance, stay here. Matt was great to work with and the home is perfect for couples.

Perfect Getaway in Wine Country
Lexington, North CarolinaPerfect Getaway during Harvest Season
Left on 10/17/2012 for a stay in September 2012
Nick's Nest was the perfect place to enjoy great friends and great memories. We planned this trip from North Carolina to celebrate a friend's Birthday during the Wine Harvest. Conveniently located near Healdsburg, we had a grand time touring some of our favorite Vineyards!! Each room was carefully furnished with great attention to detail. Super clean and perfectly located on the Russian River. Can't wait to visit again soon!

32810Great, Scenic Spot for Wine Tasting Excursion
Left on 04/02/2012 for a stay in March 2012
My friends are I stayed at the the Fitch Mountain look for Barrel Tasting weekend in March 2012. The spot was perfect for our group of six and could have easily accommodated 2 more people. The house is in great shape and has a gorgeous view. It's located near downtown Healdsburg, close to restaurants, wineries, etc.
Parking is a bit limited, so I definitely recommend carpooling if you can. I would highly recommend this spot and hope to come back again. -

Gaithersburg, MarylandClean, Cozy, beautiful setting, lovely home
Left on 03/16/2011 for a stay in March 2011
We rented Nick's Nest for Sonoma Wine Barrel tasting weekend--It was a lovely home, very peaceful with a great deck overlooking the river. We loved the special touches like: big, soft towels, comfy beds, everything you could need in the kitchen, nice TVs in every room, tile shower with 'rainfall' shower head, a huge grill on the deck, and even a small 'weather station' so we knew what the weather was going to be!. Owner Matt was very helpful, providing good info/instructions about the surrounding area, grocery stores, etc. Since the home is on a hill beside the river, I would not recommend it for anyone who cannot navigate steep stairs. We had a wonderful time at Nick's Nest and would definitely stay there again!
